Capcom changed their Facebook logo and updated the silhouettes... Seems like Zeku will be revealed very shorlty (maybe even this weekend):

It's all so very confusing.
Yeah I've researched the trailer a handful of times and he looks soooooo swaggy and fun. Just.. bad ass. Very very badass.

Character info

Using his V-Skill, and the special move Shukumyo,
Zeku can change between his old and young versions.
Old and Young Zeku have completely different normal moves,
throws, and special moves. Together with the change in appearance,
they are totally different characters.
Pick the fighting style that best suits the situation to take control of the fight.

“ Old Zeku has:

4 Special Moves (1 of them (Bushin Flip) having 3 follow-up options)

1 Unique Attack (Overhead)

Stance Switch to Young Zeku (down, down + 2P)

V-Trigger dash and unique VT combo-ender to this form.

Young Zeku has:

4 Special Moves (1 of them (Run) having 3 follow-up options)

13 Unique Attacks / Moves

Stance Switch to Old Zeku (down, down + 2P)

V-Trigger dash and unique VT combo-ender to this form.

That's a total of:

8 Special Moves (14 if you count the 6 follow-up options to Bushin Flip / Run)

14 Unique Attacks

Stance Switching via V-Skill / down,down + 2P

V-Skill / V-Trigger shenanigans, both V-Triggers have different teleport dash framedata and different combo ender.

Oh and of course both forms have totally different set of normals and throws. “

Yep, seems he's stance switch, and looks badass as hell. Vega is stance switch, so this isn't entirely unique, but I'm hoping for a more dramatic difference in stances, something very Gen-like hopefully, as Gen was one of my absolute favorite characters in sfiv and my secondary next to Decapre (though I heavily struggled with his execution) and the second or third most played of the roster.

Zeku has REALLY re-energized me for SFV, and he's automatically my main once he drops - unless he plays like shit or something, but mannnnnn, I don't see that happening. Stance switch and everything should give crazy depth (hopefully anyway.. Vega was a missed opportunity), he's flashy and looks to be quite mobile, he looks dope aesthetically, and his Strider stance does too.. everything about him makes me sit up and take notice. Dunno a lot about his normals yet but he has some range on some of the moves I've seen, so here's to.hoping to he has a good neutral and pace control. If he does and has a solid walk speed.. well, I couldn't have designed a character more perfect. This is all based on ASSUMPTIONS drawn from the trailer or course and who knows how he will actually play when he's in front of us, but we shall see. For now I'm keeping my hype shirt on.

I always thought Guy would be a good fit for this game, and towards the end of SFIV I was starting to learn him a little, but never got anywhere with it.

Deeeeeeep breath.

FUCK YEAH. And with the Arcade Edition packing new V-triggers and who knows what else, and I presume a balance patch at the same time, the next few months of SFV will be super exciting. Now that The Grindstone is up and seems to be doing well , I'll have to juggle time between Inj2 and SfV, but.. fucccxxxxxxxxccccck it. It's worth it.

Anyone gonna be up late tonight? Dunno 100% yet, but after.some Inj2 games, I still need to get this Bison into the ring.
