Since it's his trait maybe it's like Supergirl's lasers where he has a bar that recharges by its self and goes down when he does a klone and the double klone empties the bar completely like Supergirl's walking laser does.

Whether you've got an anti-guest character bias or not you have to admit NRS does the best fucking job they can on a fan service level with every single one they add. They really pour their hearts into this shit.

Anyone who could bear witness to Butcher Leatherface's brutality and think otherwise, no matter how much you thought he didn't belong in MKX, was a jackass then, and anyone who can take a look at all the shit they've done with Sub Zero here and think the same today is one now.

It's cool to still prefer DC characters and it's cool to still not give a shit about Sub Zero in this game, but you have to at least admit NRS really does what they can to make their guest characters mesh with the universe and be as badass as they can be.

So far it doesn't seem like he will have 50/50s anyways: only overhead is the F3 which is slower than the lows, 6 of the possible 7 starting string slots (s1, f1, b1, s2, f2, b2, s3) have been shown and none of them was an overhead, I think MKX B2 is not coming back. He might have an OH in the middle of some string, but probably will only be mixable with slide (so unsafe and fuzzyable). Maybe Jump into air hammer MB or slide MB but still not exactly an awesome 50/50 if it's even a thing.

If an OH belongs to a string then it's still possibly problematic because of his ice clone, especially if he has you backed up in the corner.

But if it belongs to a string you have a lot of time to react and fuzzy guard as slide is faster, so he isn't opening you that way.
