The multiverse mode for Injustice 2 -

about Multiverse

"In addition to the campaign, online, and fighting game standard arcade modes, Injustice 2 also introduces the new Multiverse mode. Similar to Mortal Kombat X's Towers, the Multiverse allows players to travel to an ever-changing series of parallel worlds in the DC Universe and battle alternate versions of the heroes and villains with various handicaps, stipulations, and goals. Completing the gauntlet, you'll gain access to various tiers of Motherboxes, which yield new gear, items, and shaders for your characters."

This is cool because I really enjoy the gauntlet of towers that MKX has to offer.

Up rock incoming, ETA 5 minutes
Part of me is trying to convince myself that there's an unannounced/unleaked character based on the roster slots

Multiverse mode sounds cool

The Multiverse sounds interesting. I really hope there's actual unique gear and shaders you can unlock, there would be much more incentive to actually play them unlike the living towers.
I hope they add new gear in for special events. Like " Defeat the Easter ladder for a unique Easter themed motherbox" or something like that.

It is better this way
IGAU: 7 Batman characters, post-DLC: "Shit roster! Too many Batman characters!" Inj2: 8 Batman characters, pre-DLC: "Fucking fantastic roster!!!" Lol, Never change TYM.
Except everyone's bitching there's too many Batman characters. Which is whatever though because every Batman character in the game has a lot of people who wanna play them. It's not NRS's fault that Batman has the best rouges gallery in DC, it seems like they are ignoring people by doing a bunch of Batman characters, but honestly those are the characters that more people want.

He allahu ahkbard himself and Superman walked it off...
Wrong!!! Wonder Women cut his suit and he left for spcae so he could explode without damaging the planet.

Other thwn that he BODIED Superman. Do you even know who Captain Atom IS and his abilities? He can literally blast Duperman with Red Solar Energy, atomic.manipulation, nuclear manipulation, with Strength, flight and speed, and even more i refuse to list.

Captain Atom is one of the JL's STRONGEST. And one of the most POWERFUL members of the entire DC roster.

Yeah the thing is, it's impossible to please everybody as people have different preferences and expectations(some which are unrealistic). The people that champion having around 10+ Batman characters are usually the ones that will complain about lesser known characters getting in. Or "nobodies" as some like to call them. And vice versa.

Yeah. They did go a bit overboard with the amount of Batman characters, but they are popular and well known and people will want to use them. So even if it's a bit shitty they a lot of characters won't get a chance, it 100% makes sense.

I'm not sure I really get this whole "Batman character" thing at all. I mean, Wolverine had his first appearance in The Hulk. Do we call Wolverine a Hulk character? Or does the fact that he's had his own mini-series, comic titles, and movies mean that he's a solid character in his own right? The Punisher had his first few appearances in Spider-Man and later in Daredevil. Is Punisher really just a Spider-Man character? When Punisher has his own mini-series, his own comic titles, and his own movies, isn't Punisher just The Punisher and not solely a Spider-Man character or Daredevil character? Haven't they stepped out of the shadows of their origin issue?

Punisher and Wolverine first appeared in the 70s, Catwoman first appeared in 1940! She's had her own mini-series, own comic titles, own movie. Harley Quinn has also had her own mini-series, comic title, and Suicide Squad was pretty much a Harley movie. Now they are taking the Gotham City Sirens comic featuring Harley, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy, and looking at making that into a movie. These are interesting characters in their own right. They've sustained titles and storylines apart from Batman. Obviously, they might have originated in Batman (one of the three longest continually running comic books in history, by far), but they aren't dependent on Batman and have their own fans. Maybe Batman is the hero they are most closely associated with, but I don't know that justifies dismissively referring to them as "Batman characters" as if that's all they are.

Take Constantine. Ok, he first appeared in Swamp Thing. His first few appearances were in Swamp Thing. He's also had his own movie, TV show, guest TV show appearance, and several comic titles. Constantine has plenty of fans in his own right, probably even some that might be unaware of his Swamp Thing origins. Maybe the other DC character he is most associated with is Swamp Thing, but isn't Constantine more than just a Swamp Thing character? Hasn't his success shown he has merit in his own right, whatever his first appearance might have been?

Hey, if some people would rather have some characters than other characters on the roster, I feel you brothers and sisters. I'm sure everyone has characters they'd like to swap out for others. Yet, if someone wants to disdainfully, sneeringly, contemptuously write off characters like Catwoman, Harley, and Poison Ivy as mere "Batman characters" without their own value, I'm not sure I buy into that. Walking around referring to Wolverine as nothing but a Hulk character, Constantine as nothing but a Swamp Thing character, or Punisher as nothing but a Spider-Man character doesn't make much sense either.

Where have you been? Lol There has been plenty of complaining about the abundance of Batverse characters! I mean where were you when they announced Bane, Catwoman and especially Scarecrow? All three characters got an immense amount of hate! Heck Poison Ivy did too when fans started to speculate that they included her over Swamp Thing. People lost there minds when they thought Mr Freeze was going to be his own character instead of just a skin!

So yes there's been plenty of hate, I should know since I've been pretty vocal myself haha
