Just gonna go ahead and let you conspiracy fellas deconstruct this one. So let's review what (I think) clues have been posted within the week.
Day 1: "EXORCIST"
Day 2: "BLUES BROTHERS" (also the Apple troll screenshot)
Day 3: "GOONIES"

Okay, let's do it. Assuming it's about Noob Saibot.

1. Noob is a human infused with demonic stuff from hell. Exorcise this!
2. Explained above.
3. Noob was a legbreaker for Quan. Sort of. A goon, so to speak.

in a previous consult with the community in Ed's Twitter, some time ago, did Noob Saibot won as character to be chosen as new dlc in MKX, in some poll stuff, correct ? They did that with IGAU and Zatanna won, so, means that Noob could indeed be part of KP3 ?

Legbreaker? What? Come on. The more logical connection is that Goonies starred Sean Astin, who played Samwise Gamgee in the Lord of the Rings trilogy which was originally going to be titled, "The Shadow Grows." I don't see how so many people can miss such obvious references.

Assuming these are all characters but not neccesarily for KP3, the Exorcist could very well be Constantine for I2.

What about CARS and the INCREDIBLES also being in all caps? So far it's been CARS, INCREDIBLES, EXCORCIST, BLUES BROTHERS, and GOONIES.

This is piquing my interest since I keep seeing Noob getting thrown around a lot as of late so I'll throw on my tin foil hat...

Noob variation archetypes anyone?

1. BLUES BROTHERS = Rushdown
2. EXORCIST = Trap
3. GOONIES = Zoning

1. Uses his shadow (Saibot) in his strings for pressure, rushdown, and 50/50s.
2. Uses opponents shadow against them (think Zod's trait from Injustice) along with portals.
3. MK9 Noob basically, so zoning focused, i.e. sending Saibot (aka his "goon") fullscreen to slide or tackle (Hopefully this time his zoning is actually worth a damn)

As for the names of the variations, who cares. Seems cool to me if this is it from a design perspective, especially if Ghost Ball is universal as well as Upknee making its grandiose return as a universal, plus frame move for all variations.

... Or it could just be fucking movies Boon in fact hasn't seen. Fuuuuuuccck idk.

well, if so, if you pick certain isolated letters from all these words, it's possible to build the name of Noob Saibot and Sareena

CARS = SAR , repeating A
INCREDIBLES= EEN

SAREENA


CARS=SA
INCREDIBLE= I
EXORCIST=
BLUE BROTHERS=B, then BOT
GOONIEs= NOO

NOOB SAIBOT

Seems stupid, but you never know when coming up talking about stuff regarding Ed Boon "King of Trolls" tips and clues, hehe :p

I'm still under the impression that there will only be one final DLC Character and they will take the ? Block akin to how the Pit replaced the stage selection ? Block

Blues Brothers has a B which is in the word Noob.

Exorcist has an S which is in the word SAIBOT.

If you take the other B from Blues Brothers, replace the G in Goonies with it, take out the ies, turn boon around, you have noob.

Also, Brothers is the opposite of sisters. "ter", in sisters, sounds like "turd", which is what Noob is the color of if you eat spicy food.

This is so obvious.

I read the tweets and they seem sincere.

Like it's just a middle aged man tweeting about famous movies he hasn't seen.

TYM makes them sound so cryptic lol.
