This is basically what I'm trying to say.Batman's zoning relied on the fear of trait.

You're applying Lobo's kit relative to how DS'a zoning was in the full cast.I always crouched fullscreen agaisnt Deathstroke. Straight shots would go over your head. There was no reason not to crouch and just block then move forward.
I don't see what his f3 or b2 have to do with his gunshots? When hes within range of those normals. Hes in s3 or Hook Charge range for Lobo. I just have to pick my time to move against DS if hes walking back or what not then move forward once I blocked gunshots.
Batman it was different if he had trait out. If i blocked trait whether it was 1/2 bats it was still his turn. Lobo's jump was to floaty to avoid batarangs that followed after trait or he goes in and starts pressuring me.
That's fine, but that by itself doesn't automatically make Batman a better zonerThis is basically what I'm trying to say.

I don't know what to say to this lol. His f3 range hits from about start of the match range. I'm not gonna be afraid of low gunshots from there. But like you said that might just be Lobo/DS mu thing. Cause when hes in that range, hes eating a s3 xx hookcharge. You don't see what they have to do with gunshots?
The gunshots opened up these other tools. You're crouching to avoid the guns, so he uses that to use his overheads. It's basic conditioning.
you're just rude....Then what the fuck am i?
It's might be a Lobo/DS thing. I've also played Injustice since day 1. One of the reasons you'd see other top DS players use guns up close is because they were looking for the overheads. Once that was established, they'd start low blocking or what have you and they'd use f3.I don't know what to say to this lol. His f3 range hits from about start of the match range. I've played the game since launch and always had a harder time getting in on Batman than Deathstroke.
Don't you fucking forget it.you're just rude
Be honest. This thread was dead until me and Rude starting talking about Injustice.Well this thread took a weird turn into talking about Batman/Deathstroke/Lobo lol. As much as I'd actually prefer that over discussing some of the somewhat horrifically designed 50/50-related stuff in MKX I'm going to have to remind you guys to keep it on topic, you can discuss Injustice 1 realted topics in the Lobo/Deathstroke/Injustice/wherever matchup discussion(s)
*fistbump*Be honest. This thread was dead until me and Rude starting talking about Injustice.
We kept this thread alive.
And your a good man because of it.Lmao my theory sparked a whole injustice zoning discussion.
Let's make TYM an open chat room at this pointSo we covered:
1. 50/50s
2. Is D'Vorah top 5?
3. Who is top 5?
4. Is @Tweedy an asshole?
5. Batman v Deathstroke: Dawn of Zoning
Good job guys
Certain characters without meter have to take swarms all day for free cause if you jump she can just run in and AA you from fullscreen. Ferr torr on knockdown its a fucking nightmare. Floatiest hitbox, garbage movement speed. But I'm not getting hit by it, I'm blocking it, but then my opponent gets to be +22? For what reason? D'vorah hasn't spent any bar or anything on it and yet she gets a free mixup? I know there are ways out but you have to make a read.
Albeit b+1 used to have slightly less range, Cutthroat has always had safe 50/50 mix ups. The major difference is that many characters were normalized while Cutthroat, who was a high mid tier character for all but the game's early lifespan, was buffed. As a result, Cutthroat is a super top tier character while almost all of the previous top tier characters are mid tier. A classic example of NRS's tier shifting.I don't understand why if Kano spends a bar on a 50/50, you lose 40% if you guess wrong, and you get literally no reward if you guess right. It's still his turn even. At least if Alien, Ermac(kinda), Sub-Zero, Kenjutsu Kenshi, Kotal, Mileena, etc want to launch you they are unsafe.
movement in MKX is slower with some characters, there is also a select few characters who are wonky enough when doing an air attack that it can even stuff moves such as KL spin which shouldn't happen, add that with long range reaching normals and fast run speeds and you have what people are complaining about mostly. Why is it that people complain so much about anti airs. At high level you rarely see anybody having issues with it. And you can always trip guard it anyway. Or simply move back and do what you do. Plus the uppercut is hella effective if you have nothing else.
50/50s should never be safe. But they are apart of the game. And if pro players deal with it we can too. I have lost tons of games making bad reads on my opponent and my on screen character died. But I didn't. So I just played more games. And I have locked people out and pulled the same crap on them. Stop bitching. And fined what works. If you were a better player. You would win. Dealing with 50/50s is minimal guessing. And maximal understanding of the person you are playing.
Oh jesus christ, just because you created a meta with your opponent doesn't change the fact that a 50/50 is happening. There's is still a 50% chance of you guessing wrong.Dealing with 50/50s is minimal guessing. And maximal understanding of the person you are playing.
Because not everyone has the time and/or talent to play at that level and as such will have a hard time anti-airing.Why is it that people complain so much about anti airs. At high level you rarely see anybody having issues with it.
