Not gonna say I'm not addicted to this game, but it just doesn't feel the same without Blanka. I've mained him since SFII. Whenever they leave him out of a SF game, it just devastates me and I lose interest. That's what is great about MK. There are so many crazy characters, that even if they leave your favorite out (Baraka in this case), you can find someone you still like. I just can't get into a game as much as I'd like when the characters seem so bland. I'm using Guile now, but it's just not the same. I think I'm going to take a break and go back to MK for a while.

Is it just me or is Karin the hardest character to use? I mean like she seems like the has the hardest learning curve and is definetely the hardest character to get good with. Anyone agree? Disagree?

listen i didnt wanna say it since us karin mains are never understood but she has probably the highest execution ceiling in any fighting game, literally the oppposite of maining cammy basically

Disagree completely. She has pretty difficult execution but F.A.N.G has that and also has generally bad tools.

This just in! Pressing kick then punch now the HARDEST THING IN ANY FIGHTING GAME. No other technique is a better demonstration of execution than pressing kick then punch.

Someone still embellishing. Don't worry next time we play I got a necalli that some people have been calling the "best they ever seen". I got a set lined up with some BR players cause of how nasty my Necalli is.

Which isn't really a high bar in SFV. I was able to get a feel for the tenko move on my pad just rolling my thumb. I'm sure someone actually spending time with the character can make that execution barrier seem nonexistent.

Do you even have to do her hardest combos? Maybe for maximum damage but if you don't is there such a noticeable gap?

Yeah SFV in general is pretty easy execution wise but karins tenko/orochi will take you a little longer to learn properly. The timing varies depending on what you're linking into it with and her max damage combos are a little tricky. She'd be an average or low execution character in a game like GG though, but that's just sfv.
