Also, if you want max damage you can just do s4 into iceball. Hits for 7% and is 2 hits including iceball. Whereas anything else, be it 11,f1,3 into iceball is 3+ hits including iceball. Which will hurt your scaling. Obviously I know you cant just s4 into ice ball all the time but using it as a punish will grant you max damage

Anyone find optimal combos for opponents trapped in puddle? You can't use freeze so I'm maxing out at 27% with no drones.

Maybe I'm a scrub, but does enhanced f12 work consistently from outside corner range? Because I tried the combo from left corner and it's hella tricky without the wall to cath them

You have six and a half years to cancel B3U4 into whiffed dive kick. You can practically just input B3U4D4 and achieve the same result. It also helps with his corner carry.

I need to check if his B12+4 string is a hard knockdown, it might be useful in that regard.

I can't hit the NJP after the whiffed dive kick. So frustrating.

what are you guys saving the drone for ... when you already have a drone or two out, use it in the combos..

f13 ice ball, drone call, jip f12, run f12, run f131 slide

against a lot of characters you can safely summon drone after a slide, as you are at +30 from the slide... reptile and sub catch with their ex slides but a lot of characters won't be doing a wakeup after your bnb slide ender for fear of punishment on block so get that drone out.

the early combos I've seen, we are being too economical on drone usage.

Don't mash it out, watch it and time it quickly after your DK. I kept whiffing it at first too but now I get it 9/10.

When you do a Drone B2 it changes the block properties. You're a good amount of + frames and there's a huge pushback.

The moment CSZ hits the ground you can hit the NJP. Don't wait too long

Any drone attack adds damage (the only exception is b2; it doesn't seem to add anything extra). If you look at the strings where it mentions a drone, it will say "drone buff" by holding a certain attack button.

So, what you would do is have a drone out then perform the listed attack for more damage.

Example: b1, 2+4 yields 16% on its own. If you summon a drone first then perform the same string while holding down 2 or 4 after, it goes up to 21%.

You are able to call out 3 drones on your own or do a MB for an immediate 3 on screen.

To touch on this. D3 is easier to combo off of. I had a nice little BnB no drone 31% of: F12, D3, F12, F131xxSlide

Okay here's my BnB from a 50/50, I generally EX Ice beam to make it -9 but with the push back some people struggle to punish it so it keeps me somewhat safe, you could also start with F12 and be safe too I suppose and I would imagine it would be similar damage.

Inputs are *starter* B3xx Iceball(hold), Ji2 B3U4xxD4, Instant NJP, Short RC B12+4(hold)

I'm sorry I was gone. I had to film a production of Fargo for film school (intro). I really think we should spend every drone we have for our conversions, and the B12+4 ender might be just as good as slide for damage at the cost of corner carry.

I'm torn between separating our combos by number of drones or to simply imply that one should enhance any special they can with drone on their own prerogative. i don't want this thread to become to convoluted with *s.

Im at school right now, but I would imagine a combined use of S4 and enhanced F12 would be an avenue for the some decent damage in the corner.

I found something significantly easier than the standard route, and it may yet be further optimized. It seems we can link a B2 after a FJP, so I've been using that as a launch instead of B3U4xxFDK.

This is dealing 30% and the gravity allows it connect regardless of screen position.
