Rules for contributing
: Please use correct notation as outlined in the key below to format your combos. Please list the damage associated with such combos. Keep JIP out of your combos unless essential to the conversion (ie not as a combo starter). If you wish to post a video either have the inputs in the video or below the embedded link of your post.

General Notes: You should be spending your Drones whenever necessary to enhance moves. Enhancing specials result in more damage on ice based attacks, and also creates better pop-up on other attacks. Combos listed may allow you to expend more Drones on the relevant special moves than what is annotated.

F/D/B/U/S: indicate a direction
xx: indicate a cancel into a special move
EX: indicates you must meterburn the special move for the enhanced version
, : idicates a natural break in a conversion, for instance, from one string into the next
RC: indicates that you need to buffer run to continue the conversion
DS: indicates a Drone Summon
FDK: indicates a Far Dive Kick
CDK: indicates a Close Dive Kick
DE: indicates a Drone Enhance (hold button press to buff the move)

The useful ones IMO:
  • 111 7f punisher
  • B1 Overhead
  • F13 Low on the 2nd hit, safe (-4)
  • B3U4 xx Far Dive Kick. Low on the 1st hit, unsafe
There's also B2, another Overhead but idk.

So for B2 non drone combos, meterless midscreen I have.

B2, S4~IceBall, Summon Drone, Jip, RC, F131~Slide for 27%.

There is also one @usedcarsalesmang posted which is B2, S4~Iceball, S4, F131-Slide for 28%.

I think the 27% one might be a lot easier on execution/spacing though.

It would appear as if the midscreen route thus far would be String into freeze (drone summon), B3U4 into whiff Dive kick, insatnat NJP?, S4, followed by a f131xxSlide ender.
Something like that. Some strings that leave you too close like 111 or being in the corner doesn't allow enough time for both JIP and Drone Kall so only choose 1. Also sometimes, the gravity is too much to fit in S4 before F131 xx Slide.

I don't get why everyone is going for the b3 u4 into whiffed dk stuff. Its so much more complicated than many alternatives for the same damage?

Here's the optimal route, it's actually best to run cancel after the NJP as opposed to after S4 to avoid difficulty with gravity:

[String]xxIce Ball, Summon Drone, FJP, B3U4xxFar Dive Kick, Instant NJP, RC, S4, F131xxSlide

Should put you around 30% meterless

I've found a quick run cancel inbetween NJP and S4 is easier than a run after S4.

You have six and a half years to cancel B3U4 into whiffed dive kick. You can practically just input B3U4D4 and achieve the same result. It also helps with his corner carry.

I need to check if his B12+4 string is a hard knockdown, it might be useful in that regard.

Yeah i know in that regard its good and im not saying dont use it. However I've seen a lot of people talking about a lack of damage. Try using drone enhanced f1,2 in your combos instead of b3u4

I'm focusing on meterless right now, but if you find optimal paths from that string be sure to post it. I'll do my best to include as much as possible so this thread is at least presentable tomorrow.

Using a drone seems to push your damage to the lower 30's in some combos. Being that you summon one during freeze and they have good recovery it'll be very important keeping them out to have good damage.
