Breakthrough - Ferra/Torr [Pre-patch] Ferra/Torr Block Infinite

As a F/T player I've never been in the situation where I started a round and Ferra wasn't on Torr's back.

Is such a thing possible? The only thing I can think of is if you whiff Bowl Girl and immediately get KO'd.

It's happened to me multiple times when I started round 2 in the left corner of jinsei chamber. It might be map specific idk, I don't know where else it happens because I pick jinsei chamber every time lol.

When takeda did this to jason it was removed with the full support of the takeda community, the reasonable Liu kang players wanted to make FK mb 0 to avoid loop kang scenarios, why should this be different?

Okay. Next time I get someone in the corner, they should just put the controller down then right? Also if you crouch block B1 has a tendency to miss on certain characters.

It is good not disputing that but it is not broken since there is no guessing after b121 since it is not special cancel-able. Haven't tested this exact situation but I do believe you can jump out of my b121 on the follow up, The only thing guaranteed is a D1 as a true frame trap meaning you can't just jump out.

I don't think it's broken or needs nerfs. But it is a thing.

Okay, I shared Goro tech and SonicFoxx commented on it, doesn't mean he is actively contributing to the site and sharing all of this tech. YOMI as a whole was barley active on this site. REO has always posted tech and we are all thankful for him for doing it.

Not knocking these top players, but this site isn't what it used to be when the top players actively posted and shared tech, and I don't blame them for not doing it. People on this site just talk and complain instead of finding ways around something. I have done it a few times, then I went to the lab and learned it.

You cannot dispute that Shadow. I enjoy the site and what it brings to the community, it is the sole reason why I am in the MK scene.

The footage in the OP came from the current public build, so all those points are moot.

On top of that, we have no idea what is staying, going, or not even added yet to the beta (its like a three week old build), we have no idea what options all the characters have to deal with this when the new build gets released.

I can't believe the hate train that has barreled down on Ferra/Torr in just the last few weeks. This is kinda what I (and I think @Doombawkz, @MadeFromMetal @Shade667 @dennycascade, and any other mains I missed (didn't include Bio as he's absent from this discussion) would agree) feel like

Takeda's d3 is way too slow there's no way he can get out. But yeah most characters can d3.


Ferra Toss is +6 and b1 is 10 frames which means it'll be 4 frames. If I delay it by say 3 frames then it'll be 7 which beats any 8f poke.


If it's been known then how come I haven't seen it posted anywhere? Also how come it has never been patched after all this time? I'm bringing this up now because this is the 2nd character to block infinite my character and I heard this is going to be the last big patch for MKX and this needs to be patched.

Its been known for a while, its been discussed in stream chats and such. Im not sure about tym though. This can be interrupted since b121 overhead toss has a gap, so its not a block infinite.

I know tym likes to run in and discredit things sometimes but this really has been known bro.
