Just started playing this recently. Got it for $5 because of the deal of the week on XBL.

Love this game. I've always heard people talk about it but just never got it, I've been missing out. It's very similar to a game I want to make, which is awesome.

People have said this game is the hardest game out there, and I don't agree. It's hard in some sense but it's only "hard" because all other games are braindead easy these days. You have to actually think, use strategy, use skill, and aren't handed shit on a silver platter in DS. I've died a lot, sure, but it's because of my own mistakes. I adapted, used my brain, and was successful. It's something games are missing these days, an actual challenge. Games are artificially hard by making enemies have higher HP or higher damage output, which doesn't really do much if the game is already simple. I know in DS, NG+ does exactly this but with a solid foundation it works. Anyway, love the game. Haven't beat it yet, and taking my sweet ass time to do so.

I killed the damn wolf with a sword in it's mouth and the damn red dragon all before work. Easily one of my most productive Dark Souls days lol.

Just got to the sewers which I think is called The Depths. Is there a way to block the cursed mist shit? Or do you just have to dodge it?

Btw, stickied this thread. Because I can that's why.

To answer your question, no you can't block it. You just have to stay away from it until it dissipates. You definitely don't wanna get cursed or else you're gonna have a bad time.

Unfortunately when Dark Souls 2 comes out I will finally stop playing Injustice, even thought I don't want to. I guess I can make a Frost based character....

Skip the depths, there's nothing of use down there. Do you have the master key?

DS2 will be the first game that I go in on day 1 with my friends. This time they won't be able to troll me by making me run into stuff that'll kill me and make me cry. T_T

I hope I can beat DS1 before DS2 comes out. I'm level 68 now, but honestly that was a lot of souls farming in the area before the damn wolf.

I had the US edition of Demon's due to an accidental I assume shipping of a few copies here. I love the series, definitely a day 1 buy for me, my local store sometimes gives out special editions for no more charge.

I've made a pretty clear deal with my friends, fall in a pit full of monsters and I ain't jumping my ass down to save you.

Mainly because I'd be the one pushing you in.

I fucking love Blighttown. Even the damn of the goddamn area is badass. People are just wusses. Frame rate?! OOOOOOHHH YOU POOOR BABY!

When I was in the earth quake of '79 the framerate was shuddering for the entire neighborhood!

If you have the masterkey you can clear blighttown from lvl 1. Just go to old londo and go straight to your right, there's a door you can unlock which leads to a passage from the valley of drakes which gets you very near to the spider's nest.
