I guess I'm just playing it wrong. Feels like whenever I try and let off an arrow in staff he gets a free groundpound check and prevents me from getting any momentum off it. Time to level up I guess.

You can back dash the second shock of MB staff pound and get a free arrow load.

I think WoWo beats him because she can d3 under arrows. If Arrow does d1~d4 she can block your d1 than press d3 and it will make your arrow whiff. I think it's pretty hard to get an offense going against her

Yah, because Arrow doesn't have the ablity to jump back and shoot an Arrow downward,

Murphy was D3ing me 4 months ago @NRF CharlieMurphy I moved passed that meta. I want you to mash D3 if you are playing Wonderwoman, stops you from doing the things that she really does well in the match,

I agree with this list except*(lol) I think bane is 4-6 not 3-7 same thing for ZOD. Dem fire arrows, use them.

I have yet to find an arrow that gave my Nightwing a hard time. I am sorry but his up close options are crossup j3 and d1~special.

If he d1 arrows on block I get a free d1~ex pound punish. Ask tates if it's hard to do.

Yes he can get cute with D1~savage blast but he still wont be doing ANY damage to me. In a game where arrow has a hard time doing large chunks of damage without meter, he is going to be contending with safe chip pressure, terrible wakeup options, and a hard to find offense.

The fact of the matter is this. If arrow gets an arrow out he can prevent me from pounding. However, he cannot prevent me from stance switching. As soon as I do the meta shifts once again. As soon as arrow blocks a spark or gets hooked by a block string I am back in staff.

When I was playing a lot vs M2dave and Revolver I came to the conclusion that Lex and Zod wer 4-6 vs arrow but certain stages are a nightmare.

Against bane its a 3-7 for sure. Arrow has to work extremely hard vs bane to win. His low damage combined with banes venom armor and higher defense really hurt him. It's just a total nightmare if you get knocked down or cornered. It's pretty cut and dry.

I agree 100% on aquaman. I used to think the match wasn't that bad until aquaman players really started to use his range correctly vs arrow. You can't close the distance on a good aquaman, he has too many tools.

Also Lex Luthor I don't think is that bad, because his startup on all his special attacks are EXTREMELY slow. So if you're just spamming green arrows from across the screen he can't even set up a probe or land mine or trait or anything

If you have the life lead you can zone him with fire arrows and it can be pretty tough for him to get in

This is exactly how I play that match.

Catwoman can't spam jump 2 against Green Arrow, his air to air jump 3 will beat it if he predicts it. Saucy Jack was able to calm that down and force her to start sitting and waiting to AA them.

I posted pretty detailed write ups on the Zod match up either in the Zod forums or somewhere here. It was maybe like 2 months ago so I'm not exactly sure where.

I haven't played in like 2 months because staring at the menu's waiting for people to play got old.

low arrow buff did nothing in this match up, u must play zods that dont know how to instant air zod charge if u think u have options in his match

If stages weren't a factor it would be pretty much a 4-6 match up. Arrow does have a lot of tools against Zod. You can jump against him to close the distance. When he shoots a slow ball just put a normal arrow on screen and jump over the ball. Once in that distance he has to respect your options. This is where you can open him up and push him to the corner. Arrow has a great corner game with f2d13 arrow because the spacing is perfect to set up whiff punishes. If you read he's going to do his air dash move you can sky alert him back into the corner. When you have a nice life lead and he gets away start using fire arrows. Trait is no threat at far range imo unless he can throw objects at you so it's ok to keep him out. All his bullshit laser mix ups with trait can be blocked on reaction.

Just to add, sky alert is risky business on read but it works. If you wan't a safer option I would just say back dash or savage blast if you think he will use it to escape the corner. Shoot an arrow as he lands so he can't back dash and continue your pressure.

Yah on a guess" predict " it wins out, when arrow jump 3s basically a seond after her, but on reaction, it loses so u can abuse it
