Does our Stand 1 in staff body your D1 or your stand 3, since those are your furthest reaching normals?
Stand 1 beats out everything in that range. The only thing I can do is jump out or backdash, and both of those can be read and punished. There's a certain spot where my d1 bests NW's options, but it's very specific, and if I'm in that range NW bodies me anyway if he's in staff. It's really hard to do much of anything if he's in staff.

Staff + meter =my favour. Especially when you're in trait, you become neitralised by mb staff spin bullshit ;o

Not mb staff spin, stand 1 mb pound vs stand 1 jump 1. Though mb staff spin is great for stopping my trait.
Though once you knock me down I have to basically eat the mix up. Nightwing has like FG and spin as wake ups, but your dash forward splash bodies that. Is that reversing wakeups AND inputs?

I am, but the difference in control ability is like... obscene. Have a hard time because I'm a d-pad player.

Ah I'm a bad source of information. The best I can do is gimmicky tech and a bit of this and that as far s optimizing damage goes.

But we've always had that. ._.
I've been debating it for a while but I finally decided the damage difference paired with the fact that his armor makes counter poking nearly impossible is pretty stupid. That and the fact that Doomsday can't really pressure him. It's still easily winnable. You just have to have a ridiculous amount of patience.

Ah. I still feel like its 5-5, but the top Banes say 6-4 and you're in the middle so I'm like curious as to what everyone else is thinking.

I'd have to play it more offline. Most of my Bane experience is taken from random encounters with Bipolar, and the short set I played with Rev. Plus some random dude that 2-0d me at a local. But I don't really think a match up where my character does so little damage and has to basically run at bane is good. I feel like offline counter poking would be a lot less risky, and maybe that would change my mind about the match up, but I haven't been able to actually test that. I was going to get some games in with Grr at NEC, but I ended up sleeping because of how exhausted and jet lagged I was.
