This character was my original main but I guess your word is clearly better than mine off of some sort of strange rationale.

I am not sure if I agree with bottom 3 either, but at least Duck offers some insight to why he thinks GA is bottom 3, where as you simply state he is not without any reasoning.

Duck also downplays horribly so I apologize if I take his opinion with a grain of salt. I've stated my case multiple times in GA forums before I dropped the character so I don't really feel like doing it again. You have to have a really good argument for putting him in the same class as Joker, and I haven't heard anything that remotely supports that.

EDIT: I also don't think that GA loses that many MUs. I think a lot of the so called losing MUs are even or 4-6

People don't even realize that the talk about Deathstroke is largely semantic. The people who say he's good and the people who say he sucks don't have a very different matchup chart, they just have different standards. I tend to side with Dave that a character with the number of disadvantage matches he has isn't really worth investing in. Too bad.

I'm not sure what MU chart you're looking at because I looked at Vagrants and he had 2 bad MUs and the rest were mostly even with a few winning ones. But hey. I'm from Chicago where we upplay the fuck out of our characters.

I main MMH but play about 20 characters to keep things fresh, including GA. Anyone who can play that many characters enough to get the picture should agree that GA is at a terrible disadvantage to so many godlike things in this game. His matchups arent as terrible as catwoman or joker but those characters all need bumps in their ability to open people up. The game will never be balanced while some characters have a constant, safe full screen presence while others have.... a really cool sounding voice?

The Green Arrow players tell it like it is, then the rest of the community that still gets hit by 111-super to this day, comes in and gives the Green Arrow players a lecture on how Green Arrow is amazing and the Green Arrow community just sucks and needs to adapt. i've seen people on stream still trying to jump out of 111-super. I should be clearer about what i said. GA can get his game rolling with relative ease, but he is clearly designed to be a well rounded character with solid rushdown and some actual zoning potential. he just doesn't excel at either option as well as some other characters. i think if his arrows did more damage at least on hit it would give him a much more threatening overall presence. as it stands you'd have to make a case for him not being bottom 5 imo

If you wanted to pick GA you should've just picked him. It's not like you can't win with him, you just have to try harder. Picking MMH because he's a top tier that's not how it's supposed to be...

I never mained GA or wanted to. I just have experience playing with a ton of characters. I play MMH because hes the bomb, not because hes top. I play a lot of catwoman too even tho she gets bopped by everyone. and even tho i call GA a shitter i know hes strong, just not relative to the top few which means a lot in this game.
