Maxintensity25 is "max" for short. He's our northern non-Canadian Bane and is considered probably one of the top 3 Banes in the world.
Even still though, that doesn't mean he is perfect. Absurdly skilled and handsome, perhaps, but when it comes to the actual knowledge part of it he plays on instinct more than instruction if that makes any sense.

Literally the opposite of me. I know a good amount of MUs inside and out, the tools available, the techs and etc... But I can't perform it.
Well in that case Bane is only half the battle, just because you're Bane guy doesn't make the best impression doesn't mean there aren't Shazam's out there doing the same thing. (There's tonnes trust me, they make shazam too basic and easy to deal with)

Oh no he makes great impressions. Fantastic mind-numbingly great impressions. He just doesn't know some of the MUs fully, and it costs him when he tries to raw charge Shazam in the neutral game.

I'd throw Wonder Woman, CatWoman, and Joker. Most wouldn't agree with me, but MMH is an even matchup. None of his setups work on him. I feel he's mid tier at best. Not at all the worse character in the game.
WW may just be in Shazams favour from what i've played and seen, but I dunno Imagine F0xy's WW he'd beat down on any Shazam player we can throw at him, But I'd base that on his abilities and not WW's. at a stretch you could say it's in shazams favour.

Joker is definitely 5-5, I played a tonne with Qwark last night I can tell it's even.
As a Catwoman secondary I can tell you she has plenty to mix up with and has decent speed advantage over Shazam, but falls prey to raw command grabs as she's all about being in, her Whip range isn't large enough to play spacing like Shazam can in that MU, so It seems even as can be.

Bane mains need to never raw charge at Shazam.

Well no, charge is grab immune. You can torpedo through, MB b.3, do either teleport and get a full combo punish off of advancing, jump into projectile punish... etc etc.

Yeah, honestly if you ever need to know about Bane just ask a question in the Bane forum and you'll get some of the best coming and giving you as detailed of answers as we can muster.

I think Shazam loses to Doomsday and Solomon. Not sure about Bane
Then sorry you're not playing well enough.
You can destroy him, Teleport his Db2, You can destroy his main game with teleport, he can corner trap you unless he backdashes, which never happens lol.

When he puts trait up everyone know just to D1 until they block then tele back and d1 some ore until it's gone.
As for his charge it's such a readable move I find unless RIGHT up in your face, easily blocked and -9 so you can punish it by using b123 and getting a hard knock down, You could probably get the HM out because they have time to block however as we know we can command grab through it, it's only an additional 3 frames. So that can be punished unless it's MB.

It is disadvantageous for shazam, no competent doomsday will ever do a naked venom, doomsday controls footsies and in general shazam has no way to keep him out and no way to dominate the close up game, doomsday with a lifelead can simply turtle away and wait for trait recovery. his dash is awesome, so is his chip and his meter damage is not bad at all.

AT and b23 go straight through wc. And can punish it depending on how far away you land and how early you went through grundy.
as does f233, and launches for a full combo. I always end combos against Grundy with AC, and i you do a f223 right when you land it will go through WC and his MB trait

If you do it right, set up a hard knockdown into trait or like f.22xxtrait and then you can basically poke him into neutral jump 3s and his grab will have a hard time hitting you if you do it from the mid point.

nice! I wasn't aware f22 was a hard knockdown, so that's nice to nice. coincidentally I've been using double and triple teleport setups off of f22, it can mess up tier wake up inputs and confuses people sometimes haha. Have you tried this with his j1? j1 has long active frames and can hit Grundy when he's crouching at the peak of shazams jump, which is pretty cool

I don't think he loses those matchups because I use Shazam wrong, I think he loses those matchups because I destroy every Shazam I play with Doomsday and grundy. I feel like they are too dominate up close and Shazam can't zone so he is forced to fight them up close.... and he doesn't do so well lol. Vs grundy every time he touches you, you lose 50% of your life. Vs Doomsday, his footsies and rushdown are too dominate and he can blow up all of your wakes up on reaction.

When I fight Shazam with Doomsday, every time I knock Shazam down I wait to see what wakeup attack he does. If he teleports towards me, I punish his teleport with a combo. If he teleports away from me, I punish it with venom. If he stands there and does nothing, I MB Venom for frame advantage and start my pressure. Shazam seems helpless

He's a grappler man, he has invinicble teleports and a freaking torpedo, all these tools used right blow your characters up, not to mention B23 on grundies walking corpse, Man the DD match up is so easy, teleport out of every corner pressure... teleport every db2 and punish... d1 over and over to stop him when he has trait up, Block and punish the charge and command grab straight up.

How am I supposed to deal with Catwoman? I get absolutely blown up
