You guys pumped for the new MOS General Zod skin? I was hoping for the all black suit he wore at the end when he fought Supes, but this is acceptable IMO.

EDIT: Bummer, WB took it down. Anyway, it's Zod from MOS with his armor. Mandatory day 1 purchase for me.

Do you guys have any tutorials to recommend? I wanted to learn Zod initially but became discouraged due to some things (and having trouble performing IA Krypton Rifle). So, now I use Deathstroke and am looking at Black Adam.

Also, what do you guys do against negative edge? Its DISGUSTING in this game, fuck. Holding down the button is hard for me since I play on a 36o pad. I guess the simplest solution is to re-map the buttons and then just become accustomed to the new layout?

You can turn off negative edge in the button config.

As to guides/videos look at the ones put together by Pig and SimSim and read the threads, they cover just about everything you need to know with him.

Okay, so I've played a TON of match ups (almost everybody in the cast), and I seem to be doing well against all except Grundy. Walking corpse seems to blow up all of Zod's mix ups. Also, the trait seems to be useless, again, because of Walking corpse. Any tips?

I was thrown off by this matchup when I first played it too. Here are some of what ive been doing to win the matchup.

- keep distance, just the right distance though to punish whiffed walking corpse.
- avoid jumping in, his d2 is really really good
- lots of sidearm, ground lasers... this is when you get to use a lot of his zoning tools.
- 2 iazb before rushing him down.. slow and a regular one.

Well, considering he is the only character with 'natural flight' like superman, WW, MMH, etc, it seems weird he can't air dash

Can fly opponent through space

Apparently BA had an air dash pre launch. Which ever tester said, "Fuck no, this shit is too much" deserves a high five from the community.

I made a quick combo video. 29%, 40% damage. Please keep in mind I JUST got the game. I'm aware that the videos probably do not represent the best use of meter. But honestly, I just wanted to make a vid since I like the Zod character so much. And I'm loving Injustice. Anyway, I plan to make more videos as I improve; as of now, I'm still the ultimate beginner.


I would GREATLY appreciate your subscriptions. I'm new to Injustice but highly skilled at HDR/ST, and pretty decent at SFxT (in case you like those games). Anyway, gonna go watch Hut's Zod video.

What is the difference between fast, slow and normal kryptonian rifles? I can't tell a difference in speed. But that could just be me not doing it right and doing the regular version every time.

Yeah, your inputs are off. There is a noticeable difference in KR speeds.

His trait also functioned akin to Mario Kart red shells, were if you got hit with a projectile, an orb would take the hit.

Everyone needs to watchout for NY_Jailhouse He's doing everything that we've found and doing it consistently, even online. He plays Zod to his max potential and its an absolute nightmare fight against.
