just did this in training mode. I assumed you were talking about the SS parry but I still didn't know about the third followup hit... strange that this is not mentioned (actually explicitly excluded) in the move list eh? thanks for the tip anyway

also it seems to not be bf3, i get the third hit off bf3, db3, or df3? this is strange lol

wait do you mean an extra attack on the canned parry followup string? like parry23 then she does something else after?

parry2 gives you the parry and then the down up slash 12%
parry23 gives you the parry, then down up slash, then the stab that knocks them down mid screen 16%

there is something after that?

i cant get it to come out, can either of you video it?
 
um what I have noticed is that when doing her otg in the corner, depending on how close to the ground you do it, changes the pushback on block. If you do it instantly, on block, you are pushed back too far to follow up with 33 (I hate having to walk up and do it) but if you kind of time it to where you do it mid jump or just before mid jump then on block there is minimal pushback and you can follow up with 33 without having to move forward. Keep in mind, that if you do it too late then its no longer an otg and can be beat out by wake ups

Oh wow that's interesting to think that in doin an insta air anything too fast lol I was wondering why people were saying its so good whenever I did I couldn't get the low to connect

Yeah at first I thought it was about getting it out as close to the ground as possible, but then when I got real good at doing it pretty fast I noticed that the set up was not working as much as it used to because I was too far away to connect with the low

Doing the divepunch late also reduces your frame advantage. From my testing, a 6-frame d1 will trade with yours, and beat everything else that you try. I wouldn't do this vs anyone who knows the match-up.
 
Yeah I dropped the quick stand tech at Thursday night casuals and the b2 follow up beat killer frosts wakeup parry.... wtf!?!? lol

The quick stand stuff is really good vs characters with terrible wakeups like Aquaman, Raven and Nightwing since it's a little easier to time meaty attacks (at least for me). You might be better off doing this instead of the OTG so you can get a raw 50/50 that they can't do anything about.

Edit: They can delay their wakeup attacks to beat your meaty b2/33, though.

Yeah that quick stand stuff is sick tried a couple times against a good flash and it worked to perfection for the win
 
You can B2 into interactable background bounce B3 J3 B113 Lasso Grab now.

You have to be at point blank range so it would have to be a mixup from one of her frame traps.
 
Noob here with first post so no flame pls. Ive been a WW main since the game came out. How do you guys feel about using bounce cancel overhead F3 inside some of here combos?? I know it uses up alot of meter but Ive noticed that d1,2,ffmb almost hits everytime and turns into a 40% combo. Also a good mix up is Ji2,3,ffmb(overhead,low,overhead) good players will block the over head, low but then get blown up by the last over head. If it all hits it does 47% which is not terrible for 2 meters. What do you guys think? discuss:

The f3 is very easy to see and won't hit anyone decent because there's no mix-up there. If they block it you're at positive frames, but you just wasted 2 bars for it. One of WW's strengths is that she pretty much wins every clash without even trying and you'll be giving that up.
 
Yeah thats a good point on the clash... I just hate loosing matches and seeing that I have alot of meter left. What do you guys think the most efficient ways of using her meter? I do quite a bit of mb B3 and F3 on their wake ups(depending on the character). d1,2 tiara Mb(not sure how i feel about it, I have gotten punished for that and wasted meter). The lasso grab Mb at the end of combos doesnt do much dmg...

I feel like the lasso MB also gives you bad position after the throw :/

I use meter entirely on clashes and MB B3/F3

D12 MB Tiara, MB B3/F3, and clash. Oh, and naked MB tiara is really good at catching people who are trying to dash in. If they are close enough you can get the full combo with b113 or if they are too far b2 lassograb.

yeah man and that buff debuff doesnt really last long enough to become a factor, wish that it had a use like just drops them right in front of you so you dont gotta chase em again
