When I play with Jailhouse's batgirl it usually goes in my favor but I'm not 100% on everything so I'm just leaving it as 5-5 for now.

Classy Sasquatch thinks BA is possibly in Lex's favor as well, but I don't see it yet. Could you explain why?

Haha dude I dont see it either I just take advantage of times to put up orbs, and short hop here and there to make sure I can whiff punish him for trying to do that lighting bolts with corp charge from short to mid range, when he goes for divekick i do corp charge since it doesn't have great air priority or armor b3 it on reaction. Thats it really :confused: I don't see what lex can do better than other characters in this match up.

Plus on block.
Feels even if you know how to defend against his stuff.

His zoning is almost slower than Lex's and the only thing you really have to watch out for are his pistols.

I'm having trouble seeing the actual match ups at the start of this thread. I click "Toggle Spoiler" and nothing happens. Yes, I have javascript enabled.

I actually went directly into the html of the site, and can't even dig out the spoiler text from there! That's extremely odd.

If you guys want any updates or in depth match breakdowns/explanations added to the original post tag either the mod who made the thread or another mod, I'm sure nobody minds updating it for you guys.

I could as well if people want, just provide the match up info you'd like added etc.

I can tell right now, MMH is gonna be a hard fucking match-up for Lex.

I thought Superman had everything, Jesus Christ.

Still having problems with good Deathstroke players.

From full screen, I can generally get into normal-range with minimal damage, but-

They respected Corp Charge, and J3, and was well aware DS has a very good footsies game.
So that shut down my mid-screen. Did a D3 poke that knocked him back- thought I would have enough time to get a probe out to allow me to rush into close range for a 50\50- and I got punished by wakeup guns... Did I do the input too slow or is that actually punishable by those??

I'm at a loss for how I can get into touch-range if probes, shields, and mines can't get out safely at any point when I'm at full or mid screen range.

The range on his normals look terrifying... especially since Lex's long-reaching normals are one of my favorite tools. Looks like the first genuinely bad matchup for Lex from a DLC character- but I guess i'll have to wait and see.

i dont think lex-black adam is nearly as bad as i thought it would be for lex. the air game is so much in lex's favor and bladam can't be braindead with his trait when you have your trait up. i'm actually pretty comfortable with this.

but fuck sinestro. fab or someone play WoundCowboy and tell me if you see anything i don't. i feel confident enough to beat anyone of any character but when sinestro is playing it right i can barely move, and usually by the time i get in he has his trait up. lex's only winning strategy is to get enough momentum since a lot of his setups work really well on him.

Yea, this is probably yet another unwinnable matchup in this game. Lex can't get anything on screen and his mobility is ass. It doesn't seem like Sinestro has anything to fear.

Doing well at evo has actually made people want to play me so I have a little MU experience now haha. Updated matchup chart from my current thoughts. Obviously I'm still stuck between numbers for a lot of them, the game's still early.Putting people I've played against in sets that's helped me determine it if I remember it.

Only prepatch do I think it's that bad. The difference between Cyborg and Sinestro is that it can be just as difficult to get in, but by the time you're in on Sinestro he probably has his trait up. Cyborg is definitely his advantage but very winnable, whenever you get a knockdown you're fine and don't have to worry about a ridiculous controllable orb.

Maybe I just get way to impatient vs cyborg especially once you're getting close its a mb fireball or a grapple. Relax will do head shots all day and just when I want to try jumping them bam...

That's why I have it highlighted in green, I think it could be a positive matchup. I had it as possibly 5-5 even before the patch and haven't had any trouble with scorpion players recently but I'd like to get more experience in the matchup before definitively saying Lex wins.

So I got around to playing Foxy's WW today. That matchup actually feels pretty even but I'll wait for a longer set to get a more solid number. Lex's zoning shenanigans work on her better than others. As long as you can figure out how to deal with her shit Lex can be fine there.
