More vortex? Use the other 15+ characters who already have it.

Buffed low gunshots all the way.
I'd still go with the vortex.

For high mixup...... B2,2~df2 18% meterless. Or B2,2~db3 14% meterless into re-vortex. Or b2~db3 MB, j3, j2, 323, 12~db3... 2 bars 45% into re-vortex.

For low mixup....... b1u2, f3, 1, 323, 12~db3 32% meterless into re-vortex.

There is no way i'd give that up just for low gunshots. Don't get me wrong, i did like the low gunshots, but after a while, it became easier to block them, punish them and maneuver around them..
 
Martian Manhunter:
-remove invincibility frames on telekenetic push or adjust the hitbox to allow a crossup option on wakeup for more characters.
-All orbs on screen dissapear when manhunter is hit
-remove splash hitbox on overhead teleport.
-Traitcooldown increased. Either reduce damage buff or increase damage taken while trait is active.

Discussion, fine. Wanting an actual patch to occur and it actually happening, never.

I don't care much for Injustice, but it's ultimately going to be the same as it was for MK9. Not that I'm complaining about MK9, but with MKX around the corner, they're not going to spend money on said game. Not to mention it isn't even in this year's EVO. MAYBE, if it was at EVO then it could be possible, but I don't see it happening.

* Reload speed increase (allow for 223 reload, dash, pressure)
* Slightly less scaling with ice arrow.
* Hurricane bow should not be so terrible. Less unsafe, more damage, MB for safe/more damage, less dropping when using as a combo ender. Something.

Joker:
* Fix gun wiff
* Fix teeth disappearing bug
* Gas cans have less startup/recovery
* Make trait parry high/low universal.
* Maybe faster b3/f3. Those are sooooo slooooow.

Raven:
* Less startup on trait/being able to cancel out of it.

Deathstroke:
* Make bounce cancel b3 actually connect with combos 100% of the time.
* Make trait not terrible with less cooldown.

It's weird that he doesn't have an air dash considering the character does actually fly much like Superman, Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter. Killer Frost on the other hand has an air dash because fuck logic.

Some suggestions and discussions and (fruitless) speculations until Mortal Kombat X is released.

Aquaman

- increase trait cool down from 12 seconds to 18 seconds
- second hit of b+1,2 no longer hits behind Aquaman

Bane
- increase recovery frames on a whiffed back breaker command throw by double the frames

Flash
- increase damage scaling of all trait combos to result in 40%-45% of damage

Martian Manhunter
- overhead teleport requires one bar of super meter to perform
- increase trait cool down to 12 seconds
+ regular orb remains on the screen longer for 60 frames (i.e., one full second)

Sinestro
- trait charges in 2.5 seconds
+ decrease start up on final shackles by a couple of frames

Zod
- only one ball of the same speed may be on the screen simultaneously
- command throw in trait no longer grabs opponent after Zod gets hit
+ force push is fully invincible on wake up

Balance changes for mid and low tier characters. Not a complete list.

Black Adam
+ pre-patch hitbox on regular and MB lightning strike

Catwoman
+ Cat dash is fully invincible on wake up
+ low whip recovery decreased by 28 frames on block. Same recovery on whiff.

Scorpion
+ MB teleport is -5 on block
+ flip kick is -5 on block
+ b+2 is -5 on block
+ second hit of b+1,2 hits all crouching opponents. -5 on block.
+ pre-patch hitboxes on all jumping attacks

Shazam
+ b+2,3 is -5 on block

Zatanna
- increase trait cool down to 8 seconds
+ remains in trait unless hit by an attack
+ improve hitbox on d+2

Aquaman: Meh, the trait cooldown is fine but you don't see too much of B1,2 hitting behind in tournament for it to be considered a need for nerf.
Bane: Sure, he's not really a need for nerf in general I suppose.
Flash: Still a lot and it wouldn't really change his gameplay in general like something like a frame data change would.
Martian Manhunter: Hell you could decrease Martian's trait cooldown to 18 seconds too, but if you think for a second leaving orbs out for an entire minute is sane you need to lay off the mushrooms.
Sinestro: Seems fine.
Zod: A fully invincible safe wakeup? Could mean trouble....but it's less trouble than iazb destroying a character to the brink of making the matchup unwinnable and Zod probably does need some sort of way to get up so sure whatever.
Black Adam: Uh, nah. If he should get something pre-patch back I'd be prepared to give him his backdash.
Catwoman: As fair as it probably is, making low whip -5 is completely unnecessary. There's a reason it has such long range, it's supposed to be used that way. Cat dash being invincible on wakeup is fine.
Scorpion: Why change B1,2 to -5 when you can just block confirm into flipkick which is now -5 anyway? Just give him a damage boost, maybe not prepatch hitbox jump attacks but better hitbox jump attacks anyway, maybe a faster spear and give his "6 frame" moves slightly improved hitboxes.
Shazam: I'd be ok with that.
Zatanna: No need to increase her trait cooldown in my opinion, she's fine.

But, why in the name of Zod can't anyone suggest decent nerfs for Batgirl?! First it was increasing the recovery frames on her dash because of a 32 frame sequence and now this:
Batgirl
- MB smoke bomb no longer provides a juggle state
- increase start up on trait by double the frames
+ severely increase the chip damage of all attacks in trait
Your suggestions for balancing Batgirl are to
A. Change the properties of one of her least damaging options into vortex in the first place so that it just does a bit more damage but still puts the opponent full screen rendering the point of doing the teleport completely useless,
B. Increase the startup on her rarely used 36 frame trait to over a full second of startup,
C. Increase the chip damage on her seldom utilised trait even though it already increases her chip damage tenfold.

Great.

Forget F23, forget cartwheel, forget flying bat, forget bola, forget making her B1 or B2 slower or more punishable...

Changing her trait and, instead of changing the actual thing creating the vortex, changing the properties of one of her plethora of ways of starting the vortex to render it pointless are the most important things to help the balance of both Batgirl and the game.

In general? Meh. The Batgirl stuff? Apologize now.

PS. Increasing the chip damage her trait causes substantially might actually change up the way Batgirl is played ever so slightly but I don't see it having a great effect overall to be honest.

I like the changes to CW. Personally i'd like low whip to be similar to Lobo's low chain and be like -16 ish on block. Still punishable unless used from further away. I'll have to go back and check the OP, I think you said -28 or -26 on block? Does that change Sinestro or AM's ability to punish with shackles or FTD? Why did you pick that number? It would help change her ability to control people who just walk back.

As for the cat dash, it would be nice to be fully invincible. If I was only to get one of the two (low whip or cat dash) I'd prefer the low whip buff.

Edit: I re read OP. Decrease by 28 frames. So it would be -5 on block? That might be a bit generous. I know it's got a pretty long start up, but being completely safe on block might be too much.

How does Raven get a vortex from having an overhead (that would be really hard to confirm into lift)?
It's already been explained. Her b2 is 16 frames and would hit OH, and her b1 is 16 frames which hits low. When she's traited, all she has to do is the mb lift move, and bam... vortex. And that's just the obvious. Every jump in would lead to an OH/low mixup. It would be really dumb. For real. Not to mention whatever other hard knock down setups would lead to this dumb mixup.

1) Where's the vortex? It's a 50/50 yes but it doesn't create a loop that can only be broken by guessing correctly which is what a vortex is.

2) Again, it's not a vortex. Also, plenty of things outclass KF these days :p

3) Raven has 3 issues in the game. I won't argue about tier list placement or her strengths, just gonna list the issues:

a) difficulty opening up defensive players.
b) difficulty getting out of any knockdown setups.
c) difficulty dealing with advancing armoured moves.

An overhead b2 would help with the first one but does nothing for her nightmare match-ups against Bane/Doomsday/Grundy who exploit b and c the most.


If Raven were to get a 50/50 (she won't because the game is done but whatever) then both options don't need to lead to a full combo. b123 can still be the full combo option (b12~lift MB combo), while b2 removes the special cancel and can only do the string b23. Rather than being a blind guess there's actually some mindgames happening as to whether the Raven player will be trying to create space or go for damage. Saying that, if I were still playing I'd much rather have tools to get off the ground and deal with armour.



Oh and trait needs a start-up reduction so she can b3 - trait - continue combo with ease. She totally needs it.

I at least would hope you would see your character needs to be toned down. How disappointing.
why does flash need to be toned down in the same game that Batgrill, MMH Aquaman and Zod exist in? its not like flash dominates characters. flash has 1-2 7-3's and the rest are 5-5 or 6-4 flash favor and its only because of his overall design, hit damage set play rushdown anti zoning character, all the changes you listed wouldn't do jack shit honestly at the end of the day his oki game is top tier, his corner game i top tier, his damage with trait is top tier and his anti zoning tools are really good.
 
Nightwing:

B3 is way easier to connect after escrina fury.
Damage buff of 3% for all of his combos.
His s1 hits mid and is still 6 frames. But neutral on block. We don't need +21 lol.
Staff:
Better mobility
D2 to have a slightly better hitbox to anti air.
