Who is the most underrated character as of 9/20/2014

I don't think any of those characters outside the top four are DEFINITIVELY better than Doomsday, which puts him in 5-10 range instead of firmly at 10 where you appear to have him. I'd probably put Flash and Superman above him myself but it's arguable. Bio's got Bane losing more matchups and some way worse than any that Doomsday loses, FK's got Batman losing just as many if not more and not bodying anyone the way Doomsday runs train on Raven, Sinestro charts always have some shitter matchups too, Wonder Woman's charts look pretty much the same, etc. We're splitting hairs at this point though. Plus half these matchup numbers are still up for debate anyway.

And I just don't see any way Bane bodies DD that bad. I agreed with HuntR when he said 5-5 instead of the usual 6-4 everyone else was touting, and I don't think anyone proved it wrong yet. I definitely don't think anyone swung that matchup a whole point in the opposite direction at least, that's for sure. He can deal with armor, he's got superb mobility, he can check those long ass dashes with ease; it seems pretty even to me or if anything he loses slightly. 7-3 my ass though.

It doesn't even really matter though. I think 5-12 or so in this game are all in the same interchangeable tier so there's really no need to even continue to argue the points. I absolutely respect your opinion given how insanely far you've taken your character but I definitely question whether you're playing the Bane matchup right though. Either way I'll be rooting for you hard at the next major when there's no Banes or Grundies left standing in the top five as usual lol.

I've played all the banes the exact same way. I've beaten them all. But max. Max destroyed me. I couldn't do anything. And that was literally right after I just played bio and beat him. Then max sat down and destroyed me. If he gets the life lead its over.

That could very well be the case. I've yet to see the Max vs top Doomsday matchup. I don't see why DD can't do the same if he gets the lifelead so I still can't fathom it being that bad without witnessing it myself but I can't really argue against the results of Max vs Whiteboi until someone proves otherwise either lol.

But maybe the problem is that if you get to play all the other Banes the same way and bop them you're going to feel stuck against a player that same old tactic finally doesn't work against. It's possible he just requires a different, more patient/counter-active approach than what you're used to.

1; you zone, I eat the 20-50 % damage trying to get in, I get in with 2 bars, you eat 97% , MINIMUM. Then, you have to pull a real master if you want to win. And if you do, thats my fault, not Grundys.
2; I get in on you immediately, you eat 40 to 60% all utilizing SAFE attempts at getting damage. I.e. no yolo traits, no committing to WC, no meterless cleavers etc. And then, I back up. And keep doing that. And you cant chip me out, you cant zone me out, you cant do anything, besides attempt to apply pressure, and get punished for it.

You are all doing Grundy wrong. If Tyrant ever netted damage when he touched you, like he should, he would not lose. At WCW I could not keep track of the times he took 30% when he could have been finishing life bars in that same instance.

Believe me or don't. But someone should let Tyrant know he's got Cyrax and Jax all in one character right now.

Hawkgirl. Though her counterpicks are real so if you got a back pocket Zod/Sinestro you will take her. However, I really feel her pressure and damage coupled with Wing Evade being so good to get out of stuff and avoid hazards in general makes her a real threat in the hands of an aggressive player who knows his footsies.
