Virtua fighter is much easier to pick up then tekken, but it is much harder to master.
You can't really go by inputs. I love VF5FS and have been playing it nonstop. What makes that game hard is having to remember so many things(thank god for that amazing training mode), spacing, execution, characters with stances, different arena sizes and compositions(some have walls, small walls, no walls), positioning and just a hell of a lot more.Whats harder in your guys' opinion, Tekken or Virtua Fighter? IMO the execution in Virtua Fighter is light years easier than Mortal Kombat, I can literally do any combo on first try even though most people say Virtua Fighter is one of the hardest fighting games there is. While its certainly deeper than MK, the actual inputs and execution is a lot easier
And I find it odd that Paul is in favor of Kazuya.Really weird that Jin dislikes Jun... >_>
Its how long netsu lasts. Netsu is rage that your partner gets when you get low life or comboed by a tag assault. It lasts a set amount of time.
I'm not 100% sure other then it has something to do with the rage system. When you are near death you go into rage and deal more damage. It's a good comeback factor. I'm not at home so I just skimmed real quick and just copied and pasted what I saw. GGA Dizzy just explained it.
I guess the used the same netcode from SCV?Ill be back in 2 hours(dentist appointment and food) then ill make a room and invite some tekken and mk folks in with mics. The online is really really smooth....able to break throws and such. Still dropped every combo because its been about 2 years. Man its rough haha.
I see no character variety from watching Arturo's stream, all characters that I've seen seem to play the same. Or is it something you have to "feel" to understand the differences in characters.
I don't know what that means.
Are they just using the mishima's?

I don't. They all look like they just punch and kick. I played Tekken when I was a kid so I don't remember much. I don't see any uniqueness, what are their "specials"?If you don't understand Tekken all that much, you won't really be able to distinguish how characters play. Even the Mishimas have differences that make them play unlike each other in some aspects.
Yo, like why is everyone sayin' that the learning curve is high? lol I believe that even a casual player can have fun with this game, or any other Tekken for that matter. Yeah I think a lot of us have trouble with the movement, but Aris got it covered in that tutorial . All I need to know after that is how to do the electric wind god fist in rapid succession wit my man KAZ and I'm strait. The overall learning curve of Tekken isn't too hard IMO. The movement is the hardest part of the learning curve, but once you get the hang of it everything else will fall in place. Here's a decent movement tutorial from Aris.
@K.O.E_18 I looked through the entire thread and saw you at the end, so I had to post. I didn't really want to play Naruto. -_- lolROEBOTRON stalking my posts again i see -__- lol. Anyway, the leaning curve isn't high even for someone who is accustomed to 2D fighters. All they have to do is apply the basic principles of a fighter, and put a'lil more emphasis on the movement. However, you couldn't even get the hang of Naruto: Rise of a ninja! Lol
But you played cross ass lol@K.O.E_18 I looked through the entire thread and saw you at the end, so I had to post. I didn't really want to play Naruto. -_- lol
