Freeisgood and Kingbizhop are wavenet players. I was just talking to Lex about it. King and I PMed a bit on 360 the other night and he told me about Diversions, I think he was asking if I ever played there. Freeisgood definitely improved a bit since last time I played him.

The only guys who have beaten me in the last couple days are sahartist (whom I know) and some guy who used Jade last night, for whatever reason I could not get a couple hits of chip in to get him in the 2nd round.

I remember Diversions, they always got MK first in Chicago.

I always played at Dennis' though...the one on Belmont. Occasionally the one in Norridge. That's where I met Russ and Randy. Russ is THE best MK I and II player I knew at the time.

The place to be for a while was the Just Games on Harlem...8 tokens for a dollar and 1 to play.

They always had the latest fighting games...man those were the days man. I miss that shit so much :(

Has anyone played with KINGBIZHOP lately? I played him around when the game first came out, and he lagged terribly every time.

I swear he'd just stay on the select screen and wait till i picked someone and would mirror match me.

Shock, sorry for my lacking in skill of remembering combos n such. We played first 2 games back about a week ago splitting the games. Last night you pretty much kicked my ass 3 to 4 str8 rounds. Altho I hate to make excuses, I will say this....I haven't played the game for almost 8 years. Just started playing again about 8 days or so ago. It was like 4am for you and 5 am for me(my work schedule sucks) and I wasn't concentrating on you. I got raped by Ksi Mel's kitana like 8-10 str8 rounds and was trying to figure him out. I still haven't but got lucky with kabal and took 2 rounds. Then he beat me again and denied my ranking challenge... I think that put me over the top and...so kongrr, I had to take it out on some1. I knocked that Pedofile1, Sahartis and few others down to size. I still have a lot to remember. I don't think I can beat MOE at this point in time and a shitload of others but I'm getting there.. I'm not sure if I want to beat MOE if I could since he's representing Chi-town. Highest placement I got to was at 24, but then I lost like 3-5 str8 rounds to some semi-laggy/rookies from Euro and then few more and bam!! down to 200. Oh well, I don't really care about ranking, I just wanna play and bring back the good old fun days.

I've been playing with USub and occasional other characters for the past 1000 games picking from the get go letting any opponent counters with whomever they want. I'm on comcast 5mbit down/30k up. I only download shit when I'm not playing so you need to check your line. I only get few lags but my bars is always green at 3-4. I 've only experienced lag from Late nite out of the country players and fucking singers. Next time I hear some dude singing to me, you'll hear porn on my end.

I haven't played yet....I really need a stick with an MK set up. Thats why I havent played yet.

Thats how I grew up, in the arcades. I never really played the home versions with a pad, I always preferred arcade.

I'll get on eventually but GOW, Splinter Cell, and Wii next week are taking up my time for right now.

I gave up MKA, no point in playing anymore....

I dont get it then. Whenever I played you, you never picked USub.
You picked whomever I did, and you had 2 yellows.

I don't counter character anyone, i just pick who i'm going to pick no matter what. And I'm on a military base, and the connection has never fluctuated, and I was playing at a time where there's hardly anyone on(6 am and such) due to my graveyard working shift.

At the time we played, I think I was still experimenting with characters. What better to re-learn than to face the same characters and see what that character can do to you. I've been playing with usub for the past 4-5 days. Now I just use usub and only bring out my better characters when needed. My line has been quite consistent except for the past 2 days.

CHEATER ALERT

FallenMohsen is a lag cheater. Avoid him at all costs. He's in the United States and will have a green ping, but when the character screen loads it bogs down to about 2 or 3 frames per second.

i remember diversions... but, what was the other place on the other side of town with the u rail above it. thats all i can remember about that place. but, there was this kinda heavy bald white guy, he was damm good, is that any of you guys?

i think me and you meet the same guys. they where mk2 gods. i learned the little things in that arcade below the u rail. diversions is where all the haters where, but, oh, yes! thats where they came to show off there new extend combos. i also seen my favorite jago combos there too.

I think I know who you're referring to but I dunno about the other side of town. Not unless you're referring to Dennis games on belmont which is only a few train rides away. As for the balding (chunky?) white guy about 5'6-7"... could be Eddie Ferrier. If he's the guy you're referring to, then he is pretty good and he is/was a midway tester. He's more of an SF player but still good at MK.

is that who it was, damm his kang was god like, i love watching it. i actually copied his kang. dennis games is where i thought the best mk players where anyways. there was no bathroom in that place. but, plenty of bars around. and a cafe at the end of the street. thats where i also played wave net. them guys from the bowling ally where the hardest on wavenet, haha no hand watching. :p

i'm finally back in the top 50. After getting some wins off of saharlist, ZMAN1014(he quit after i beat him and wouldnt play anymore. he seems to be bipolar cause another time he invited me into a room to play), and necrocutioner.

haha i was getting ppl though, with the JK, teleuppercut, run aaHP, spear, disappear, HP HP LK HK LP combo

opponents freak out and do STUPID stuff right after that combo. so i can punish and do it again.

Yeah it's very difficult going from constant teleport uppercuts, to virtually none. I'm starting to see some Kabal players though more and more.

In other news, I have made the decision to do the sandpaper mod to my 360 d-pad tomorrow. There is no way I can continue like this. The faulty d-pad cost me at least 5 matches tonight.

And just a question, has anyone played TheMKr? He came up a few times for me but his red, 1-bar ping scared me away.
