He looks interesting from the streams Ive seen so far.
Tons of range, some really stout looking approach tools, though it looks like a lot of his stuff is mid/long rangy.
I see a lot of mids and their speed LOOKS to be kinda deceptive. He has a lot of flashy animation and effects, and that all resolves very quickly.. a lot of times that kind of stuff makes moves look faster than they are because there's so much visual info to process.
Seems tricky. That parry/counter. Movement built in to his kit.
Seems to have a lot of combo potential.. From what Im seeing a TON of his stuff leads in to more damage.
Damage I dunno yet. I think he's getting like 60-62 off his BnB/typically landed launchers. BUt Ive seen stuff up intot he 70's off one or two other moves.
Really good wall carry.
I saw what looked like a Leo/Paul-esque low that's part of a NC string and does decent damage., Only seen it once thus far so didnt get a good look at it. Dunno if it was CH or not either, but it didnt appear so. Also just saw what looked liked a low starter that led into a smaller combo.
Opponent is never safe, no matter where they are on the screen.
Havent gotten a good look at his static SS and dashes in a context that make it easy to tell how good they actually are.
Noctis looks CRAZY.

However, he's one of those characters that LOOKS really REALLY strong out of the box, and extremely overwhelming. No one knows frame data yet and in Tekken knowledge is everything, so knowing when/how/where to push buttons and SS is everything.. so a character people dont know how to fight yet can look broken simply because he gets away with so much. I am not saying Noctis is any different. But with some characters you sit there and watch and you think "I dunno, he may be ok. Gotta see how it works out" but with Noctis, when I watch him it's kinda the opposite.. its more like "Jesus christ he needs a hotfix". This is also ridiculous players playing ranked vs mostly regular humans and they can make anyone look broken.. but I just mean Noctis' speed and crazy animations and combos and everything.. he LOOKS overwhelming AF.
So again, disclaimer. I AM NOT SAYING HE IS WEAK OR STRONG OR ANYTHING. I am simply saying he's one of those characters that appears very very strong out of the gate. Take Bane from Inj2 or... maybe Blanka from SFIV. If you dont know how to fight these characters they look just plain fucking broken. Absolutely broken. but once you know more specifics about them and understand how they work, they become more manageable (though Bane still wrecked my shit)
BUT NOCTIS TOMORROW!! Holy shit i cant wait!
