I think he looks interesting.
That said, I sat down for like two hours yesterday, playing primarily as Steve, vs a gold rank player. First time I've played in weeks. Utterly decimated in the first 80~% of the games, but started to remember how to Tekken towards the end and started taking rounds, then games. He played Leo/Kat mostly. Was fun, if a little frustrating. I've totally forgotten my punishment as Steve and he was spamming lows like there was no tomorrow, so I was leaving entire games on the table from nothing more than good reads into bad punishes.. and some weird frame stuff.. I'd cover some of my plus frames with a b1, or just straight up jab, or one of Steve's fast mids, and I'd lose Every. Single. Time. to almost anything he threw out. The most egregious was Katarina literally hop kicking my b1 though my own + frames three or four times. Almost had to put the controller down on that. We were super laggy in general though making for some weird shit.. I'd try to duck and launch the 2 in Kat's 112 triple H +8ob string, and I'd just eat all three hits on block every time...or block the low in her mid/low kick string. I'd read her snake edge, start to duck, SEE IT START UP, smile to myself at the punish to come.... Only to get hit into a combo.
Shrug. Don't get me wrong, I got mauled fair and square, but id have taken a game or two more than I did, and quite a few more rounds, had things not consistently played out to my detriment.. but then again, I don't know how much of MY stuff worked because he wasn't able to duck or SS or punish properly, so who knows. Maybe lagg carried me as much as it kicked me. I know this much though, when he was +, he was actually + lol. I tried to contest occasionally and ate shit for it.
Anyway. Point is, I had some fun. I need to play more Tekken .
