Jesus is my Lord and Savior!
Im sorry, but what is MTU size?
The MTU size basically is the maximum amount of data that can be sent through your router. Manually adjusting the mtu size can help to improve the online performance of your ps4.

Take a look at this video where he shows how to do it. You can definitely give it a shot. It helped me a lot

I hope it can help. Please keep me updated if it worked out for you.

Do you have PS4? I would love a sparring partner :)

Feel free to add me. PSN - JBeezYBabY1
I play on ps4 too. Id love to have some matches. I live in germany so the schedule could be problematic XD

Ok, so to the guys out of the bottom ranks and operating in the mid and higher...

What characters do you see all the time? Who are crazy popular.. and the opposite, who do you all never see?

I just keep trying to trim down my list and I find myself wanting to play 7 damn characters or more and I need to curb that shit.

Josie isnt going anywhere but there is a HUGE part of me that wants to play Lars.

Lars is non-existent. I only played against 1. Strange how theres no Jacks barely either. Only played 1 as well. Kuma/Panda 2 ....now that i think about it....i havent even seen any Eddy Gordo's besides myself.

Most ppl ive played against are Jins, Kazuyas for the most part...not too many Geeses....ummmm most female fighter ive battled is Kasumi. That damn tiger...

Gotcha. I have this weird urge to be a special snowflake in this game for some reason, and play a character or two that are off the beaten path a little bit.

Eddy does seem super rare, and I like him, but I dunno. If we end up doing some sparring I dont wanna run Eddy mirrors and shit, lol. The unsafe nature of his 50/50's isnt my cup of tea either.. I like safe offense.

I wonder how popular Feng is?

Feng is another popular one too. He's a fast ass jabber, and annoying as shit. OH and Devil Jin is common too. Everybody wanna be like Quodans n shit lol. But now that u keep mentioning it, i have NEVER came across an Eddy mirror match....EDIT....maybe once....but i must have beaten his ass bad cuz i dont remember what he looked like lol. Lets just say only 1 Eddy :)

Yeah I figured Feng would be a popular choice. He has to be one of the best characters in the game. He's any three other characters stapled together. Fucker has a damn 0 ob df1 and the fastest standing mid in the game, along with over 9006 lows of every variety. He can attack up close and close the distance with + frames, he can run and create distance with his evasive stance stuff including.. standing 4? I think, into the double stance transition that basically retreats to range 5 or further.. he has Oki and tech trap stuff, amazing whiff punishment. He has ranged and keep-out moves.. jeebus. Just, fucking everything. Lots of characters can play multiple ranges, and play them decently, but Feng plays everywhere well. Any style. Feng is probably going to be a main.. I like him too much, I just wanted to avoid the common characters - which is silly, but I am silly by nature.

Yeah dJin is popular. If I ever play a mashima (I don't really want to right now) he's tempting because he's probably top 3 but I might go Heihachi because he's old and a fucking BADASS and looks like my Grandfather (minus the hair, he really really does)

I think Eddy is a bad-ass, but he feels like a specialist character and if I were ever to pick him up, I'd need to really dedicate to him. One day maybe.
The dedication is REAL with him. Hell, even I'm still learning and ive been playing as Eddy since part 3! But every game changes. His mix-ups are so nasty but his weakness is maneuvering sideways. And thats BIG in this game. Allowing yourself to sidestep fast enough to make your opponent whiff punish is masterful. And im still learning that shit. Im still trying to find me a 2nd. Imma probably try Katarina next. She seems soooo fucking easy to learn and i love her outfit. She betta WERK with that peacook coat lol

Yeah I mess with Kat some here and there. She's extremely easy to get to grips with and understand. I can take a screen shot of my notes for her if you want.

Her jab game is really easy to work with, with decent range and the ability with a little conditioning/or vs lack of knowledge to do 112 into fucking +8 on block or something along those lines. 8. Positive. On BLOCK. That is disgusting. Savvy opponents will duck you though, but that's what 111 is for.

great mid pokery with a solid df1 and quite a few other excellent mids, several being safe CH launchers and her harrier stance (the lunge) is nice to chase/close space with and has some mix built in.

Obviously her 444 eats people up.. though you don't see it as often at higher ranks, it's still really strong and just flat out wins games by itself if someone doesn't know her frame data enough or likes to push buttons. Non-optimal 4,4,4 b22 s! Dash d2~f (to go into harrier) HAR4 is like middish 60's, big wall carry and braindead easy.

She's a lot fun. Great damage, looks cool, good mobility. She has some nice lows and mix options and vs anyone mashing too much she just cleans house.

Man, Shaheen is amazing. I kinda forgot about him for a while, but he really does a lot. he hits like a TRUCK off his main launchers. I found some slightly more optimal stuff to what Ive been seeing too..

LIke his ff3/SNS3/wr3

ff3 small dash 3~df~2 f2,4,4 S! Dash up Db2~df~3 is over 70 damage - like 74, with silly wall carry. Lose like 1 damage with d3,4 ender for a high wall splat and even more wall carry.

uf3 d2 d2 f2,4,4 S! Dash ~Ender~ - This does 60 damage BEFORE the spin. Well into the mid 70's for damage or wall enders. It's gross.

Shaheen doesnt have a ton of moves, but what he does have are really good.. No big big low though, which is probably all that really holds him back.

What ranks do you want an idea of?
From beginner to near the last green rank I got mostly Devil Jin, Kazuya, Jin, Law, Steve, Kazumi and King. After that I saw more Hwoarangs and Bryans. I did get matched with 5 different eddys in a row for when I was fighting for warrior promotion.

I guess outside green ranks is what Im wondering. I'm sure it changes as it goes, but green ranks don't count in my mind, from what I can tell the game doesn't really start happening until after - not that I think itmagically becomes perfect and everyone is playing intelligently etc etc.

When you get back on Tekken and move up 2 ranks in 45 mins! VANGUARD BIIIIIITCH!

YAAAAASS! I think im like at the final stage of green! And finding out Eddy got SIDE STEP MIX UPS!?!? WOOOOOO OOOOOO! BabY! My son of Prince is doing just fine! Now working on my poke game becuz ppl dont expect Eddy to out-punch you for those characters who have fast jabs, like Geese, Steve, and Feng. Once at the higher levels, stops being who can get their attack out first to MIND FUCKERY!

Since im more knowlegable about opponents patterns, im gonna try to low parry lows knows instead of blocking. The next thing on my bucket list.

THIS IS WHY I LOVE TEKKEN! FUCK STREET FIGHTER hahahah

What do you mean by fast jabbers? And yeah everything I've seen of Eddy makes me think he's meant to be played as a poke heavy, tricky character. When I see guys like JeongDDing (or however it's spelled) play him they are doing a lot of careful poking into stance transitions, but not doing much out of that transition. His 50/50s are very unsafe - a ton of his stuff is unsafe as a general rule - so they seem to poke heavily and build mental frame advantage so they can get away with shit they shouldn't/wouldn't normally. I don't see them actually use his 50/50s that often, the threat of them is what's so dangerous. It's like characters with hellsweeps. You don't need to use the thing very often because just having it is enough to force respect.

Ss4 is fucking amazing.

People who abuse mashing 112, 121, etc etc while all up in your face ESPECIALLY when you're up against the wall, that shit is annoying.

I found out his Ss3 is the key to Eddy! His Ss3 is a good ass low poke BUT his Ss4 allows you to move in THEN you can mix up from there because you're in relaxed position. Its so fucking fun making the opponent guess if you're gonna hit low or mid! You can literally just poke them to death while maintaining your space.

Also i found out his UF3 attack can transition to a relaxed stance......HOLY SHIT! Now i got 3 ways to mix-up my opponent. AAAAAAHHHHHH! Im excited even talking it! I wanna go home already and just play online!

Gotcha. Just remember, everyone has i10 jabs (if there is an exception I dunno who it is) so you can challenge them in terms of speed, and most jab strings (there are exceptions here) that end with a mid are extremely unsafe. Single high jabs tend to be around +1 , double high jabs usually -1/2, and triple high jabs seem to start breaking this rule, since you're rewarded as the attacker here for getting a triple high out without being ducked and launched.. some have transitions (Josie), some are idiotically + ob (Kat) some have really odd, powerful properties (Chloe). Getting mashed out always fucking sucks but I've had some success just turtling and taking my turn back with single jab checks and I've had success just ducking after the second hit. Occasionally you eat a mid here but they usually dont (again, exceptions here) don't do much more than small damage. The guy mashing tends to do the same thing again if it worked as well, so next time you stand block the whole string and a lot of the time those jab strings into a mid are launch punishable or fairly close. I'm.not familiar with Eddy's -13 and -14 punish options though.

Of course that's a super generic scenario and any time you're against the wall it's dangerous.. but hell if they're really really mashing, I just duck outright (suicidal vs good players of course) and whiff punish the mashed jabs, or side walk the fuck outa there, since at lower levels people seem to just mash and don't try to think about what's going on. You wanna get the fuck away from the wall and a side walk will do it.. a good player just backs up a hair and snacks you with a idea fast, homing move to check this, but we aren't talking good players here lol

How do you know a move is a homing move? Is that the blue icon next to the attack in the move list???

EntropicByDesign

It's all so very confusing.
I think it might be a green icon, I can't remember, but you can tell in a match any time you see one, the move will trail little white snow-like effects. You'll see a white particle effect around the move, it's the same effect for every character and very very noticeable once you realize what it means. Changing the hit effects and such in customize doesn't change the way it looks, so even when playing someone else you can visually figure out what's homing.

Of course tracking and homing are different, some moves track so well they're practically homing, but there's nothing that denotes this, and knowing what direction a move tracks, and how well is just one of those things that comes from MU knowledge and the lab. God knows I get blown to pieces trying to figure out how/if I can SS different moves lol.

Also just because I feel like in running the risk here.. I'm not trying g to come across like I know everything or like im even good enough to time you advice. You've played a ton more than me and for longer, and when we play you'll probably mop me pretty handily, I'm just trying to pass along some of the info I've dug up through notes and research.
