yeah man, most of my dmg comes from jump back 2 against cage, it's just too good against f3.

anyways as a KL i dont really wanna counterpoke with d4 if you ask me, but this is just me sending a letter to Santa

Thats the problem here in Brasil, @Killer Xinok beat so much in then that they believe the problem is the caracter, not the player.

Some guys here in Brasil make fun of me for telling that Quan chi is better than JC, they find that absurd saying that i dont know nothing, go figure!

if Blood God had armor he'll be overkill, and no armor for blood god doesnt mean that much when he has Obsidian totem and his set of normals + ex sunlight and arguably the best dmg in the game.



Johnny has limited options? lol ok... 1, 11, 12 staggers (12 breaks armor), forceballs are the wierdest projectiles in the game, safe full screen ex shadow kick, f3 dash, d4, jailing set ups, ex nutpunch is a good reversal and a good AA as well if timed correctly, you can use ex db4 as an AA as well and convert into a restand.

i wouldnt call his options limited.

Against someone who is familiar with Johnny they can just block and wait or armour out.
His chip isn't overwhelming and he has gaps.

Cage is not honest man lol. That f3 free meterless jailing tool is godlike, his frames on his cancels are too plus. How can a character lock you down 100% each time he has stamina and people say thats honest and he has no dirt?

Ive heard a few cage mains say a list is dumb. I use liu because ive always like the character, but all these crazy lock down plus strings is something ive never agreed with but the character i like has it so i use it. I expect liu and johnny to get them frames loosened up. If you saw vendetta, xinok,mike metroid or dizzy use him, youd see why hes not remaining this way forever.

And damn, non of them knows how shitty you feel after canceling a 113 late and get your ass whooped for it....

How can you even consider nerfing Cage when :

1) He doesn't dominate in any scene.No tournament has ever been dominated by A-list players in any part of the world. Xinok or Dizzy winning a few events has nothing to do with Cage. It's like saying that Kitana needs some nerfs because Sonic Fox wins a lot with her

2) He is not among the top tiers, there are many character who are clearly better than him. How can you ask for the nerf of a upper mid character?

3) He doesn't excel in anything except his pressure, which is good but FAR from broken; he can't jail people for days like some ignorant players are assuming. Other characters have a similar pressure and are also better than him in different aspects

I didnt mean it in an harsh way so i apologize if you took it like that, so no hate like you said

On topic though:
I'm sureley not downplaying him because he is a good character without a doubt.
All im saying is, if you loosen up his jailing blockstrings to have gaps, you destroy the character because then nobody has to respect his options anymore.
And on the 11-f2 theory i can only tell you that everyone and their mother is fuzzying the 113/f2 because the timing differs alot on when the attacks hit.

NERF please, Johnny Cage in my opinion is God Tier.. This character crash with 8 strings skrc... BEST pressure in the game wih D'Vorah, Forceball EX [+4] to continue pressure after the stamina ends, only character combo with 2 cancels, only character combo with dash [F3RC, 121RC and B34]..

umm...yeah cage is god tier with losing mu's and with lao/tanya in the game. Learn the gaps, you can armor after ex forceball and some characterscan poke out.
