You're a lao player what do you have to complain about with Cage? You're playing the best character in the freakin game.

It's all so very confusing.
Really don't think he needs nerfs. He's strong as hell though and super solid, very difficult to play it seems.

I just don't see dirt being OP in the face of the dirt other top tiers are packing. I do think he's a top tier character when played well, but he only deserves 'normalization' if a lot of the other top guys get it to.

I would main A-list in a heart beat if I thought I was good enough as a player to use him properly.

I would be super happy to see Fisti buffed. This is irrelevant, but I don't like cancel based characters much and I want a JC. {\

Man I don't think alist needs to be nerfed at all. I think nerfing him would defeat this variations purpose. As an alist main I am a little biased, but I think most people would say that alist isn't broken. They would just say he is really good and I would have to agree. I feel like he is execution heavy, but thats what balances him. If you are a frame off someone can just mash armor or poke out of your cancels. I think alist should remain untouched.

It's very unfair if JC is nerfed while Kung Lao Tanya still dominate every tournament. And it is also unfair when people compare JC cancel with Liu Kang cancel or pre-patch Scorpion. Scorpion has high chip damage and BnB damage due to flame aura, Liu kang can MB bicycle kick to refill stamina, and he has very good keep away game with fireballs, and his damage is way higher than JC(even without instant air fb). Nerf A list cancel will be the same as when Fisticuff being nerfed. You take away the only thing he has and he will be trash again. Even Jax or Dvorah has other tools if you nerf their cancels. A list has nothing but cancel, take it away and JC has two useless variations. I know JC cancel is good but it is still honest and fair.

A-list Johnny can be blocked all day but his staggers into RC's and grabs is enough to open anyone up. Pretty much like Kung Lao. So atleast for now, JC is fine. If any of you think he deserves nerfs please make a video and expose every single one of us that thinks otherwise. As of now, he just seems like an underused, high execution-high rewarding character, but nothing broken at this moment. He has no mixups.

if Blood God had armor he'll be overkill, and no armor for blood god doesnt mean that much when he has Obsidian totem and his set of normals + ex sunlight and arguably the best dmg in the game.

Johnny has limited options? lol ok... 1, 11, 12 staggers (12 breaks armor), forceballs are the wierdest projectiles in the game, safe full screen ex shadow kick, f3 dash, d4, jailing set ups, ex nutpunch is a good reversal and a good AA as well if timed correctly, you can use ex db4 as an AA as well and convert into a restand.

i wouldnt call his options limited.

Wouldnt mind seeing him loosened up a bit, but also wouldnt be terrified if he was left alone. DF Kang needs to be tweaked before anything happens to Johnny. The cancels are what makes him scary, whereas Liu has other options to fall back on in the event F213 FBC is touched.

I still miss the old F33B3.

Just a slightly above average player.....
I'd say he's just able to be very flow charty because of how safe he can be in his pressure. His d4 reminds me of a doomsday d1 nice range low poke that has very little recovery and is super abuseable. F3 is a outrageous footsie tool that can be canceled out of for advantage and the triple kick cancel string is pretty nasty on chip to close out a match. Overall he fights the top tiers really well and eats most of the mid and low tiers up. If the bottom end of the cast doesn't get better tools then toning him and other cancel pressure characters would be better for the overall balance of the game.

My guess is that 8 out of 10 people that demand nerfs for a-list never actually touched the character. Never every expierienced how hard it actually is to open someone up who knows the matchup in and out. And damn, non of them knows how shitty you feel after canceling a 113 late and get your ass whooped for it....
