Disappointed in his comboability but his zoning should more than make up for it. Going to main him day 1.
WIll also be disappointed if players don't yell "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" while doing his MB rifle shot in tournaments.

It's ok, only GM mains or BrokenTier mains that 10-0ed GM say that he was fine.

Hey I didn't start the GM thing, I said there will be a shitstorm just like the one with Deathstroke in inj1.

2 questions from the podcast:

Did Swampthing have a cancellable HKD string or normal you could cancel into trait activation? If you cancel the first hit of sweep into trait is it still a HKD?

Can you cancel out of either of the hits of Swampthing S3?

Since they said his d3 works like Ninjutsu b4 then I assume it would not knock down if you cancel it

Can't answer the first 2 questions definitely, but I think the answer is no to both. S3 wasn't cancellable on either hit in this build for sure though.

I better not hear one tear about mb rifle. It is as strong (apparently) as a standing reset or rush down fool loving tool.

If u guys get your crazy offense then we get something crazy for zoning.

And before we get into the "but death stroke made the game unplayable for casuals and needs nerfs". ... ask yourself something. Were the same casuals that were losing to death stroke pre patch still losing the exact same way post patch? The answer is yes. Yes they were.
Totally agree.

I'm a self-described rush down fool, but the reality is that, to have a perfect fighting game, you need every play-style to be well-represented. The fact is, those of us who want to play characters like Jason, Bane, Grodd, etc. NEED zoners who are just as overwhelming from a distance as we are up close. We NEED this, because without it, we really aren't growing as players and we really aren't accomplishing anything.

Plus, zoning can be extremely beautiful to watch at the very highest levels of competitive play.

His trait sounds interesting because you have some classic buff choices built into a zoning play-style. NRS is so creative. IMO, their pure creativity is their biggest strength as game developers.
