Don't even know which move that is.The real question is ... what can we do with Rider now that it's crazy plus on hit?
Rider in the corner for super pressure?
B22, 1+3Don't even know which move that is.
yep its the one that was universal in all variations i believe.... i always liked how it looked, but recovery on it was something to be desiredDon't even know which move that is.
im excited to see if it is oki leave, can we RC after into a wake up stuff? The real question is ... what can we do with Rider now that it's crazy plus on hit?

Labbed a bit. It's obviously geared toward Ethereal and it'll definitely have applications there. Not seeing much use for it in the other variations, atm. Granted, this is first impressions following 20 minutes of random lab work.im excited to see if it is oki leave, can we RC after into a wake up stuff?
i hope some of this community that shares my excitement will record gameplay and show if it leaves them good in terms of oki setups
Latest patch last night. When did this change? I don't remember hearing anything about Ethereal buffs or B22,1+3 changes.
Essentially from your post ZeroEffect is asking why you would use Roll instead of Low Sai in some scenarios. This is because Low Sai hits the opponent low so the opponent has to crouch block to stop it hitting. The difference is that Roll hits mid so the opponent can block roll standing.
Ah ok, well as @theGabStandard said, Low Sai forces the opponent to have to crouch block. So if you're trying to mix your opponent up, Low Sai would work better since Roll can be blocked standing AND crouching.
Tracking. Thanks. Found the reason my ball fails against top 1000 ranked players so often. So if block high stops that and the tele kick the low sai is the best option. I like that - now I have to grow the right sized scrotum to do it haha.Roll hits medium, and low Sai hits low, it has to do with weather they have to block high or low
This. ^I don't do it just because I find b12 easy to confirm and -5 is safe across the cast.
This was my initial thought so I never did it before but thought I would try it out just incase. However I might leave it out. Do you use any other OS?I don't do it just because I find b12 easy to confirm and -5 is safe across the cast.
I like the 21 OS roll, but have had mixed results with it. I can't get it consistently. Ethereal allows me to do 21 ex fade and combo if hit or throw/pressure if blocked. I don't ever want to get caught with a naked 21 or miss my 21 roll on hit. I did experiment with it, and I could get the inputs and the u4 to come out on block, but couldn't iron out the ball roll to consistently come out on hit. This was my initial thought so I never did it before but thought I would try it out just incase. I take a pause after the final hit before I put in the inputs. All her other OSes basically work the same way.Does anyone do the option select for B12 xx Roll? If so how are you finding it as I'm getting really inconsistent results so maybe it's my timing or inputs.

yea the b12 seems really inconsident, half the time the roll doesnt even come out on hit.Does anyone do the option select for B12 xx Roll? If so how are you finding it as I'm getting really inconsistent results so maybe it's my timing or inputs.

It's B12 xxrollxx, db+block but you can buffer it with pressing it diagonally. I don't think it's worth it though since B12 is -5 & easy to confirm into roll withDoes anyone do the option select for B12 xx Roll? Yes, there is. You input the F4-Roll, then the Down (or Down Down) directional input. It's one of the directional input OSs.Is there an F4 xx roll OS? That would be handy.
Too bad F44 isn't completely safe on block unless you're in Ethereal. It's almost not even worth using at all compared to D3, run~D4, or Grab. Which sucks because I really want to like the move. Pretty sure it has an armor gap in it as well.Yes, there is. You input the F4-Roll, then the Down (or Down Down) directional input. It's one of the directional input OSs.
I've tested it for a bit. You get F44 if the opponent blocks.
hmm, can you option select into other specials as well? Like 21~bd4~bf3 (21~roll~low sai)? The way I OS B12 is B12 roll BB and that works and is easier.
However, does she still have the 21 OS? They must have changed it because I can no longer do 21rollu4. I saw lionheart say its 2b1d4u4 now which is basically bye felcia for me.
