Are you just using those options because they are safe? I barely ever used b21f2 when I messed around with him before. What is your follow-up plan?
after a blocked jump 3 depending on the height they can't poke out of your b2/d1 and as a DS player I like to take my mix-up whenever I can. I use b21f2 instead of b22 spin because if the jump 3 hits then b22 would whiff.

Personally I'm starting to hit down 2 after my j3s, hit or blocked. Down 2 on hit allows for f3, 323 into whatever ender, and also is super safe if blocked. Of course going for the 50/50 is the priority, but it's not a bad idea to throw this in every once in a while.
I've found myself doing that a lot more too , especially when i J3 at that distance where i know that if it gets blocked and there's that pushback that makes d1 / f23 whiff and can get you poked out , d2 reaches ,it's + and on hit allows to continue the combo for 30% or even allowing for the 23 ender.

Also i've scrapped the 123 ender for other similar vortex setups w sword flip , i made a vid for the b1u2 string ending in the 50 50 j3 , there are similar enders for 132 and f3 , most of the times tho you have to make them double guess before waking up so bait them a good bunch of times , this applies to both 123 or other enders , i'd say this goes into the specific MUs setups and their wakeups.

I've also got a very tricky setup in the corner.

I also like the crossup f3 midscreen enders , you can absolutely steal rounds w that , 23 ender can also lead to some ambigous jumpins.

b23f2 catches backdashes from most of the roster after blocked j3s and blocked f3s it also does some pretty fucking decent damage for one string. B222 gets beat by backdashes and whiff punished.

If they block b23 (the f2 won't come out unless on hit) the follow up is situational depending on what your opponent has to blow up your options. your -3 or -4 so a backdash or jump back 3 or yolo crossover or armor are all options.

I feel like b23 puts u too close on block but b22 spin has more pushback. b22 mb spin dash sword flip gives a little more damage and hard knockdown but costs meter. Right now I've been using b23f2 when I don't have meter and after blocked jump 3/f3, and I'm using b22 spin after 12 sword flip.

i prefer b22 spin, it gives me a good spacing for normals or jump back gun shots,

Also has anyone messed with f3 cancels in the corner? I use it alot to trick people into blocking a crossup f3, the dash forward looks almost identical to starting the flip, you can b22 mb sword spin on the same side. I can't think of one time this hasn't worked or hasn't been respected lol

I do this to my brother often when I have his batman cornered. If you condition them to fear the f3 corner mixups this will work often. It basically just adds 1 more mixup to the already strong number of mixups/damage potential that f3 offers in the corner.

i love f3 cancelling in the corner lol. For people who try to dash out or if they don't do a wake-up and they're holding forward I would dash cancel into d1/b22 spin. or to bait wake-ups then f3 dash cancel then block. Sometimes if u have a lot of advantage off of sword flip (like if u AA them) then i would f3 dash cancel into another f3 and it'll still cross up.

Yeah that double f3 is awesome haha. I usually do it off of crathens setup with the 23 swordflip ender. You get a shit ton of advantage, also using the same ender i like to dash back then jump forward with mother of all ambiguous crossups. DS corner mixups are GDLK

Lol yeah the 23xxSF setups in the corner are hella ambigous , at times i don't even know where the j3 is gonna hit and it hits so low to the ground i just use d2 to get a combo.

I've found something to mess w wakeups too in the corner , gonna post soon.
 
do you think it's better to go for this setup on GL or end ur combo normally and try to keep him out/zone him?
I think the 123 setup is godlike against Green Lantern, I'd probably even prioritize it over a normal ender. 123 ender then dash and deep crossover J3 into F23, if he wakes up or doesn't block it then confirm into SF and play keep-away, if he blocks it then go for your safe 50/50. You are at no loss whatsoever.

Flying ninja is money against GL. As well as Raven, Joker, and i think more that I'm forgetting.

There is no better meterless vortex option midscreen that has been discovered. This tech is far from obsolete.
but u still have to sacrifice a lot of damage to get it don't u?

Actually. We're pretty sure it's +1. I think the frame data is wrong

And yeah it works on those few characters but because it works on those few characters it puts him in a better position in those matchups.

It's +1 , try setting Deathstroke to reversal SF and make him block d2 then input SF , if ya do it right you're beating his SF reversal.

Isn't it +1? I used to think it was negative on block because it's a d2 lol.

not mmh. the hitbox on his push goes behind his head and i'm pretty sure will blow up ds. i think tele might blow him up too but I don't remember if MMH tele is invinc or not on wake up.
