I think Supergirl players thinking Batman wins is the epitome of people just blaming their lack of ability vs a character, on the character being OP.

Supergirl has been a counterpick to Batman recently in competitive play. Every time you see that mu in top 16s at majors, Supergirl wins.

You see it with Fate players on TYM too. People literally pick Fate just to fight Batman at the highest level, but on TYM people who can't block think that Fate gets massacred. If you can't block vs Batman then you probably won't beat him even with his worst mu.

Im surprised people think supergirl wins, as a batman player I think its even or potentially in batmans favour. Even undeadjim was daying he felt it was.

Yeh... and everyone else has to either play a 4-6 or swap. But not you guys, hence the implication that you are not on the same playing field as everyone else.

There are barely any match ups where she has to change her playstyle anyway, most of the time you have to play her game because of the stupid amount of options she has.

( 3, she has three match ups that she can't auto pilot )

I remember @EMPEROR_THEO mentioning on stream the SG vs WoWo matchup and stating that Wonder Woman is a character who excels in walking back and laming out the opponent however Supergirl can also do that and also outranges WoWo.

Theo agreed with me on catwoman. Should have specified. Didn’t ask about wowo. Also SG can’t just hang back and zone her trait has to recharge, its the wowos job to turtle

Can you show proof of them saying this? Because I really am having a hard time seeing how WW would win. Yung is a resident upplayer so i really can't take his word for anything unless i see definitive proof. The other 2 were superman mains up until she was buffed so i mean, it's possible they could be wrong or maybe not playing the MU right. I'll reach out to yung or akro and see if we can play a long set. If they can change my mind on it im willing to do so, but at this moment i really dont see it. Where is his MU chart?

But she shuts down his air options too.

She can sit at 3/4 screen and play a completely reactionary game, using trait to harass and bait movement.
It's extremely infuriating and IMO brainiacs worse match up.
