People need to watch Foxy vs Theo match in E-League. It perfectly shows how to destroy Supergirl's offense by utilizing the gaps in her strings. In ranked almost no one does that to me. I also agree that the damage buff might have been unnecessary but people seriously need to learn the matchups before complaining and stating stuff like she has no weaknesses.

It's a read at the end of the day, Supergirl has ways of dealing with her opponent's counters.
She doesn't have any weakness, a gap that is not even punisheable by everyone is not a weakness, and as I said... Your opponent has to make a read but if you made the correct reads as Supergirl, you would be the one dealing the damage. It's not pre-patch where the risk reward was heavily against her anymore. You're actually opening up your oponent for the fact that they will try to punish that gap.

So saying her offense gets destroyed is so unaccurate.
If you want gapless pressure just use your other advancing mid (F2)

Also you don't even need to give yourself a gap, as SG can hit confirm B12 into breath and end the string to stay safe if blocked.

She has great pressure strings that unless opponent has a super, backdash is the only option for gaps there which keeps SG safe.

Point being adding into what you said, she does not need to be played risky.

A lot of chars don't have that option and have to fully commit.

I'm not saying she needs nerfs, just because a char is in talks if the best does not mean nerfs.

Everybody saying that “Supergirl players just autopilot” and “we don’t try” or we downplay and undermine the character. No. She’s top 5 maybe number 3 or 4. Stop attacking me as a player.
Are they saying Supergirl players don't try or are they saying that they don't HAVE TO TRY due to the way NRS designed her?
 
I have mained her since the launch. I will willingly debate why each MU is so.

If we have to be nerfed take are Damage away NRS like I don't want any convoluted changes most of the sensible Supegirl Players only really asked for b123 to be safe. Her other stuff don't need to be touched she had that since launch and was still bad(Not trash but you know what I mean). So please only her damage and we go from there if needed.

Wrong. Safe b123 NEEDED to happen. She had almost no way to initiate offense without being punished before. B1 is -9, b12 is -11, and b123 was -9, all easily punishable by every character. b12 breathe can be interrupted and punished by 6f normals and breathe is highly punishable despite it the fact she can choose to hold it or not. F2, her other long reaching normal, is -9 and not hit confirmable. D1 has always been great, but she's not gonna win a major with just dash up d1. Lasers are always great but are still tied to a resource.

Does she need +frames on breathe? Long reaching d1? Ridiculous chip on walking laser? The damage buff she received? Hell no. I do agree she's pretty ridiculous right now and needs to be toned down in many areas, but please understand safe b123 needed to happen.
Does her walking laser go unblockable?
