If you can get past sorcerors zoning hes not that much of a problem. Its a lot easier to rush down quan then it is for quan to zone you. Its only scary if he opens you up but when you knock him down the match could be over
It's true is zoning in nothing amazing, but the armour also makes his pressure better because it essentially makes things plus. Trying to punish or poke will just be absorbed demanding respect.
I think his meter drain spell is good, it has a use now. What now imo doesn't have a use is the chip spell. It's only useful in the corner when you have 3 meters (which in my experience seems rare to get into the corner with 3 bars because you need bar to make it safe), and even then 14 ex skull 14 doesn't jail if crouch blocked. I think a change to chip spell would be better.
Maybe something like a faster start up that it can be activated in trance, but only a 2x chip boost instead of 3x.
He also lost his pressure from the ex rune in the last patch. You can use ex skull but if it hits you get nothing from it. Making it launch slightly higher so you can land a far rune I think would be a fair buff. Making his damage somehting like starter+17%
Air skulls being overhead, why not. I don't think that would make much difference to his zoning.
