Rewatching, just heard Geras has a move that can take time off the clock? Very interesting. I've always thought that'd be an interesting mechanic to try and add to a fighting game.
Aye. I heard the same. That's gonna be some super trolly shit online, I bet.

I'm in a weird spot where I appreciate the detail and art behind the gore, but my initial reaction was that it's a bit of a turnoff. Watching the exhibition matches it didn't bother me as much as I feared though. I hope they keep things more like NBC's Hannibal than Fox's The Following, if that comparison makes sense to anyone. Both shows deployed graphic violence, but Hannibal handled it in a much superiour way.

It appears as though a few more characters have been "revealed" unintentionally.
Kitana appears on the "Kustomize" icon.
Cassie Cage appears in the Behind The Scenes trailer.
Rain appears as SonicFox's Main for MK11 during the exhibition matches.
Kabal zooms across the screen during the livestream.

It seems the focus on gore is more cinematic now. Maybe it was just me not looking, but it didn't seem like blood was all over the ground during/after the matches like in MKX.

Cassie and Kabal were intentional though.

It's Mortal Kombat; large amounts of gore is an expected part of the package. If anything, the fatalities seem toned down compared to MKX, where they were more or less torture porn.

I will have some thoughts up tomorrow night, and a small number of things not mentioned on stream I don’t think. Alongside a really bad vid of a Skarlet brutality

I WILL EAT THIS GAME
I am extremely excited for the return of Kabal.

If Red Baron Skarlet and Cloneless Sub-Zero are any indication, we're probably going to get a brand new Nomad this go around. It looks like by functionality alone, they've made all the BS possibilities of the past obsolete. If he comes built without the ridiculousness of NDC's, he'll be getting a lot of play from me.

Also, i actually LIKED the new Black Dragon story with Kobra and Kira, and they never ever resolved it, and it's been 14 years now and I want some damn closure.
"Defeat Kabal to awaken KOCHAL"
Aaaaand then I get a 1200 Koin chest and a wave goodbye -_-

I'm ready to break out the hookswords.

You'll be able to learn which moves are krushing blows and defend accordingly. It's a risk reward thing. Like say a krushing blow will grant a combo that does 30% and it activates on counter hit. So you have to consider that when playing footsies when that combo would kill. Or maybe there's an overhead that will only grant a combo on the third time you hit the opponent with it, defending against that you would prioritize blocking the overhead less until after you've been hit twice. And the krushing blow only happens once.

It's very similar to Lethal Hits in Soul Calibur VI and I thought think that's a brilliant mechanic. It adds a lot of depth.
What I’m saying I guess is personally there is no way I’m going to remember or bother keeping track of x amount characters x amount of moves each with their individual sequence in order to land a crushing blow. If that’s your cup of tea, then great, but as a casual player I think it’s going to feel random and I’m not into the idea at all.
I don’t want to be constantly looking up what move is activated how.
If it was activated in some universal way then maybe it would be ok but even then I don’t really like the idea of free extra damage when you already have the mechanic for fatal blows.

Jesus, Kano again? Seriously? Doesn't he have a son we can have instead? Why do they always play it so damn safe?

Also, why not 'Kharacters' ? Be konsistent!
