MKXL Balance Patch Confirmed (UPDATED)

Gunslinger since pre patch (sh/out to The Farmer)
I said there'd be no news at EVO and that the news was the pot bonus, and I was right about that.
I said there'd be no KP3 and technically we can't ever count it out but it's unlikely.
I did NOT say there would FOR SURE/DEFINITELY be no patch coming, I said I didn't think there was one coming. What I DID say was that there was no concrete evidence/actual confirmation of the patch coming which up until now there wasn't.

Now you guys are twisting my words to try and find something to blow me up over? That's really sad. If you're going to blow me up at least make sure you're not blowing me up for something I never said. But you'll claim I did say it and you will, as per usual, not actually have any evidence to back it up with so when I call you out for making shit up you'll change the subject or start insulting me. Typical. Maybe make sure you're not misquoting next time?

At least we have ACTUAL confirmation now and people can sotp making assumptions which begs the question why didn't he just tell us this in the first place? This lack of communication just causes too many problems. But I guess this is a step in the right direction.

Listen Dolores, you set yourself for a lot of the things that happen. I like you and yet even I can see how you go out of your way to be argumentative and aggravate (I've definitely seen it in regards to the patch speculation). You make yourself a target then get mad when people mess with you as if they're just picking on you because they're mean. I've said this before to you and I will say it again: there is a way to argue and there's a way to not argue a point. You should heavily consider that part of what you're getting out of your interactions with posters is what you put into this discourse.


You don't have to believe me, but then stop wondering why people mess with you the way they do.

Sorry but insinuating I go out of my way to be argumentative and aggravate is a false assumption. There's a difference between being vocal and being purposely aggravating. Just because I might have an opinion people don't like doesn't mean I'm saying it to try and incite an argument, I'm just posting my opinion like anyone else. I understand what you're saying and I even know I could word stuff better sometimes but I don't mean to cause arguments, they happen because people constantly misquote me.

But let's not do this here, this is for discussion about the patch :cool:

Balanced and fisticuffs have an insulting amount of bad or even awful matchups. Let's hope nrs gods are fair this patch.

All these Bo rai cho players asking for run buffs and a projectile literally terrifies me if it happens and that character is able to counterzone and get in quickly. One of the most scary set play characters in your face.

Bo needs all hitbox fixes and to be given a backdash. DM idk maybe longer drink timer.

Anyways, hoping for Lao and sub buffs. The Lin Kuei shall rise again :cool:

I applaud this effort. Hopefully it won't be the very last one either because I doubt they can nail actual balance just yet. Game too young still. Their attitude seems to be improving towards development, which is good.

Ehhhh...honestly Jacqui has some pretty silly shit, but she also has issues in her overall design that checks her in matchups, too. Damn good character, though.
