I find it incredibly difficult to cancel into his amp buzzsaw during combo. is there a trick to this? I can throw an amp buzzsaw whenever I want but to cancel into it from either 22, or b12or f22 to extend the combo it just never comes out. all that ever comes out is regular buzzsaw. any tricks to this I am missing?
Yeah, the timing is definitely weird and strict. I just worked at it for a while in training mode and now it comes out when I need it. I couldn't tell you any specific signal or other thing I watch out for, it's just a matter of practice.

Any tips on Cassie? I find instant air straight saw to work well to jump over her low shot. Kabal’s Up-close game is great. Anything else I need to be wary of?

I generally just wait until I see the bf1 animation start and I press and hold the EX button until it comes out, seems like that helps.
I use an arcade stick and I’ve tried holding down the ex button but that doesn’t seem to work. Maybe it’s the stick..

Does anyone know how to consistently get a pop up off the F224 KB? It seems like 25% of the time I get a pop up off the KB, and the rest of the time I get a hard knock down.

What are Kabals best anti air options? St 1 is no good against jump kicks, and even his d2 seems to lose a good amount of time. I realized earlier today that his d3 is good for low profiling jump in attacks, but i havent experimented with it nearly enough. What do you guys use to anti air?

I think you've kinda hit the big ones, I just kinda try to nail his d2 timing.

I don't find myself anti-airing much as Kabal personally, the only times I really do are with u2 after a knockdown because it's DUMB good against oki jumps, or against really jumpy opponents when I catch them with the f2 string. Mostly I think it's better/easier to walk back and whiff punish.

I use s1 pretty much all time, there are certain characters I don‘t even attempt anti airing because of their extremely good jk‘s like scorpions. S1 isn‘t as good as cassies for example put it get‘s the job done and you get about 30% out of it

I use mean streak but I'm starting to feel clean cut is the way to go in this MU. I use mean streak almost exclusively so my thoughts will come from that MU for the most part.

Cassie is in complete control in the neutral at all times, forcing you to come to her. When Kabal is the one trying to work his way in it can actually cause problems due to his lack of decent advancing moves. You have to play pretty patient in this MU and have to just play a solid grounded footsie game until you can get your pressure started, then really make the most of every touch.

J2 is only good for reading low shot at footsie range as Cassie actually has a relatively easy time dealing with it between her s1 anti air and trip guarding with B1. Her footsies are also really good, meaning she's one of the easiest characters to whiff punish your own B1 with.

Her shimmy game is also worth taking note of, B1 staggers into walk back B1 will actually make a lot of your buttons whiff, besides a very well timed F2 or having to throw out B1 at a range where you wouldn't really use it. Be careful of poking out of her pressure, she can whiff punish your pokes in the exact same way you can with hers.

IA Straight Buzzsaw is good for a check every now and again, but Cassie can just change the timing of the gunshots so she goes under it. This isn't one of the MUs where you're going o be throwing Buzzsaws all day, even on a life lead.

Clean Cut could change a lot of this though, I feel like this is one of the only MUs where the utility of air Buzzsaw might actually make it the go to variation, but I haven't really played it out enough to say for sure.

You can use DB 4 from range, and get a KB sometimes. The range is pretty ridiculous. st.3 works pretty well at mid range, and you can combo from it. If I'm playing a really jumpy person, I like to protect my space with jump back 2. You can definitely get people to stay on the ground with kabal.

Guys! Do you happen to have Kabal’s human burnt skin? The only thing I have burnt is 2 mil coins and 10 k souls in the Krypt trying to get it, only stumbled across revenant burnt skin :(

Dude, Krypt content is random per user...you won't have the same Krypt stuff as anyone else from my understanding.

Also he has a shitload of brutalities on his tournament moves and the db4 one is one of the best in the game, I love how he just casually sits there spinning his arms.
