Lets talk about the actual top 5 chars in this game

Sinestro with trait best in the game. And b1 is the fastest furthest reaching normal in the game for those that don't know. Also has a monstrous vertical hitbox

I read through about half the thread and then skimmed a lot of the rest so maybe I missed this, but while I saw people say they think Batgirl is slept on and good, I didn't really see anyone explain why they don't think she's top 5. I dunno, I think I'd have her in there. But the game seems kinda tough to evaluate right now to me what with the patch and the pretty decent balance job and how spread out a lot of the serious character specialists are. Top 5 might be cutting it a little too finely right now.

Edit: Lol read more and of course I missed the Batgirl talk near the middle. Nm I guess but she still seems like top 5 material to me.

she has an amazing 50 50 vortex (hard as fuck to block because she has low, oh, ohlow) , good wakeup game (that weird fucking flip kick bs), and gets around zoning for free... her teleport is so good

How? All he has to do is chill until he catches you with something and it's like a 60% reset into chip trait, so he can literally just sit there and block your zoning forever and force you to go in. Then you run the risk of getting hit again for another 60% guaranteed reset, or an actual reset for even more damage.

I go off the information i have and the information I have is that he has horrible MUs, I didn't say for sure he was bad and asked for an explanation

My straight answer is to play Tyrant. I could get into detail on how Grundy's 5 frame anti air negates any kind of box pressure from Superman, or how Superman cannot loop a straight laser into a another grounded straight laser because of the threat of swamp hands, or how once Grundy gets his chip trait out, Superman is in deep doo doo, or how if Grundy gets his health trait out, Superman can only get into the mid to high 30s with one bar and trait, or how the fact that Superman is a -24 on ground laser now instead of -11, Grundy now has an easer time closing the distance, or how the nerf of F2...

JUST FUCKING PLAY TYRANT. He's the best Grundy by a country mile at this moment and I have the chance to play with him every week, and he's beaten me, Slayer, Pboard, MIT, and Godspeed several times in tournament. All amazing players, excluding my fraudulent self. That privilege alone makes me feel entitled to rebutt by saying Grundy is potential top 5 material.

EDIT: Even Tyrant told me that at the highest level, Superman vs. Grundy could be only 6-4 Superman. Which I agree with. Superman still beats Grundy, no doubt. I just feel this freak of nature Grundy is being disgustingly slept on.
