I agree with most of it but dont make jason b1 a high, it already gets lowprofiled like really easily, if you think he is going to do it just down 4 or down 3

I'd say make Ex SK a HKD but that may be a little too controversial

Quick wish list for my chars:

Fisticuffs:

-exdb4 (flipkick) has two hits of armor. Reaction changed, so it doesn't launch in corner. This applies to A-List too.

-Fistbump and red mode separately increase the damage of special throw, up to 20% (reo).

-B1 has 9 frames of startup, random whiffing issues of speedbag string are solved.

-d3 -5 on block.

Balanced:

-Ex rising karma reworked: either becomes a two bar armor launcher, or it doesn't have armor but it gives upward hitbox invincibility (to make it useful to antiair- anticrossup) (Bruno neospace)

- Exteleflurry all hits come out on block, and last one is + on block.

- Regular teleflurry gets whiff recovery slightly reduced. Also, you can use a bar after a blocked or whiffed regular teleflurry to make the rest of the hits come out (similar to Jacqui's mb machinegun). Input for this shouldn't be R2, to prevent from throwing it accidentally while trying to block after a whiffed teleflurry.

-Overhead slash is +10 on hit and has slightly faster startup.

-44(1)(2) string gets the first gap removed.

-3224 string becomes -6 on block.

Considering REO only technically "mains" one character, and that's Predator, and he nerfed him, i'm gonna have to call you out on this one.
Sorry, but why are you asking either for nerf or for buffs for most of the characters? Most of this is like a nerfhammer for me, so it's Tekken Master #2. I'm not sure if REO mains only one character. He could main more than Predator himself.

And even the changes would happen, I wouldn't think that those changes everyone wishes will be a reality.
 
My changes for Johnny would be :

General :

- Fixing the whiffing issues/Increase the hitbox of the forceballs (Normal and EX)
- D3 is -5 on block
- B4 has 11 or 12 frames start up

Stunt Double :

- Remove the gap on the EX MRS
- You can't stop blocking low between the EX forceballs anymore but you still can armor and backdash through it

Leave Jason's b1 alone. There's a lot more dumb shit that ought to get dealt with first.

Kotal's j1 brought up again? Pfffft. When it's as bad as Mileena's (I know you suggested it should get normalized), Sub-Zero's (again, same as with Mileena), etc, then it should get brought up. It's nowhere near as bad as them.

I like the change to Blood Totem. It would actually have a useful fucking effect for once.

As far as possessed goes, the hitbox on exdf4 is the only part of that move he needs. It doesn't need to be an overhead, it doesn't need to be plus on block, it doesn't need to have two hits of armor, it doesn't need to be a hard knockdown. It just needs to hit people jumping over him.

As far as balanced goes, I would make ex rising karma invincible on startup, but only connect against airborne opponents like kotals air grab or Jason's db1. It'll whiff completely against anyone on the ground.

Yeah I think Kotal's J1 has been nerfed in almost every patch lol.

Some current good uses of exkarma would go away with that change.

I actually think @Bruno-NeoSpace gave the best idea to rework it that does not involve armor:

"- Rising Karma and EX Rising Karma have now bigger upward hitbox and invincible upward hitbox."

It would give back the strong antiair/anticrossup identity to the variation, without relying on armor.

Speaking on Alien:

Konjurer: No changes leads to this still being the worst of the 3 (imo) because it lacks the armor/normals of Tarkatan and the safety/space control of Acidic. The Eggs can't be looped in most practical situations, and the Drone call only really works vs airborne zoners (Kitana, Pyromancer, Pretty Lady).

Suggested changes:

Universal:
Make Tail Flip -7
Tail flip is now a mid
Remove gap between F134 and Tail flip

Tarkatan:
Allow normal rekkas to be delayed on hit only (EX Rekkas unchanged)
Allow meter build on all blocked hits of EX Rekka

Konjurer:
Improve tracking of Facehugger
Reduce start up of regular/EX egg summon by 10 frames
I actually think this exactly. Alien pretty much needs the minus 7 flip because he's probably one of the most unsafe characters in the game without it(Tarkatan especially) and it being a mid would eliminate braindead mixups, needing to use a bar and become unsafe to mix.

The pounce knockdown getting bodied was also overkill imo especially with the rekkas becoming obsolete as a pressure tool so getting knocked down isn't as bad as it used to be.

Idk I just miss playing him honestly the minus 7 flip would be enough to make Tarkatan worth playing to me. I'm considering learning Acidic though just because I think Alien is really fun and cool despite what everyone thought of him.

I'm kinda surprised with all the Unbreakable buffs, imo he's better than Cryomancer. He has a better neutral, hits harder, better defense, some access to plus frames. Unbreakable is solid right now, he'd be even better with the hypothetical changes to other characters described in this patch.

Mostly play Johnny nowadays so opinions mostly on that:

Remove on block delay for run cancels for Johnny, Liu and Scorp.

Fix whiffing issues in general. For Johnny in particular - 11; speedbag and I'm sure there's other stuff too.

Johnny general:
D3 -5 on block (from -9)
1 hit armor on ex-flipkick (only regular launching in the corner)

A-list:
-None, just what I mentioned above for other rc characters

Fisticuffs:
-None

SD:
-MSK +5/6 on block so it's a choice between more + frames or fishing for combo

Unbreakable is better than Cryo and complements Grandmaster well, so I'm surprised to see no Cryo changes at all, it definitely needs some work to be worth using.

My Johnny Cage A-List changes:

1. Remove the weird delay to where F3 RC has the same timings on hit and block. It's stupid that Cage players have to guess if F3 is gonna hit or not and have two different timings for their conversions, it's just a pointless execution barrier for a variation that doesn't even have the suffocating offense it used to. If he was still +17 Jai-List and got 2 reps it could be justified but he only jails a S1 and gets one rep so screw off.

2. Make D3 -5. Johnny's only 7 frame poke doesn't need to be fucking -9, -5 keeps him from cheesing you without being -9 for having his only fast poke blocked.

3. Give EX nutpunch one hit of armor BUT he has to spend another bar to launch for a combo. This would function exactly the same way as Predator's EX BF4.

If there was to be one more final big patch for MKX, what would you want to see changed? Here's what I would:



Tanya:
- Jump 2 slightly normalized.

Pyromancer:
- Opponent can no longer be grabbed during Dark Shroud (D,F+2) hit stun. (Opponent can still be grabbed during the EX version.)

Dragon Naginata:
- High Poke (D+B+2) start up now changed to 8 frames

Jump 2 Nerf: Although this Jump is pretty far reaching, she needs it to convert off of her EX teleport combos midscreen, taking this away will actually nerf her damage that she already doesn't really have (midcreen) :(

Pyromancer Nerf:
I can agree with this, however, she needs little compensation if this were to happen. And i'd simply just say Make her Xray and Overhead.

Naginata Buff:
I agree with this one. This move basically isn't in the game. You can't convert off of anything unless you are in the corner. This move as an anti air midscreen pushes you way back to the end of the screen, which is useless because Naginata is meant to get in. The damage scaling on this move is appalling also.

And if Takeda's Cancels don't cost stamina, Tanya's fake pressure shouldn't either


Also.. Give us her MK4 or Deception Costume
