You guys watching this Combo Breaker set?!?!?! Gross(GL) vs Sonic Fox(Deadshot)
First 2 games were REALLY close. Great GL play from Gross, even saw a new BnB combo to pick up with two J2's that I haven't seen yet. Think it was winners too so we'll see him again

It ended up FOX 3-0 but the first 2 games were close. And DJT just bopped KDZ(Aquaman/Superman) with GL. GL LIVES DAMNIT!! We need to get our shyt together and just figure this out. GL is somewhat viable obviously

It's nice to see some GL's doing well DJT and Gross are both great players but there's some things you shouldn't forget to factor in. People still aren't backdashig b13, b13 close battery can be poked out of, you can delay wake up to avoid all his f3 stuff (but you should be able to block it by now lol) wall is -14 and I haven't seen anyone punish it. I'm not saying they're winning because everyone is trash or that GL is trash but the matchup knowledge isn't being shown very much. Don't expect to see GLs placing this high longer in the games life if he isn't changed.

And pig just played like shit, seriously I would have beat him, and yes I will trash talk @Pig Of The Hut like always ;)

Just my two cents and I'll be turning in my ring when red hood releases

Watching combo breaker is just proving what I already know gl is good he has gaps and faults but he is a force to be dealt with!Watching djt beat kdz aquaman was very satisfying it just showed me I have to learn that match up better excellent gl gameplay from both gross and djt.

Alright so I was at combo breaker and Gross explained some tech to DJT that I got to enjoy. GL's 223 string ends in a hard knockdown of sorts. It's long enough that you can dash up and then neutral jump for free. You get a jump 3 which hits overhead and crosses up but also jump 2 which can also cross up. More setup mind games.

He showed off a corner combo off f3 that I'm trying to replicate but long and short it did over 400 damage which is bonkers.

I took this to practice mode and kinda tested out and nothing is stopping me from just hitting him with a D2 AA. Unless I'm doing something wrong with NJ3.

It helps with the mix up game then? I know gross was doing dash forward and then nj2 as well. The nj buttons might be to help deal with delayed wake up while doing regular f3 or b1 is for people who quick rise

So raptor posted a video about how to punish b1 on block. Is there anything we can do to stop people from backdashing or just plain armoring through the gap between b1 and must follow ups?

Stagger B1, then B1 to catch backdash.
Stagger B1, then block MB B3, or MB B3 their MB B3.
Once they think they can just mash buttons thinking you will stagger, go back to B13 and enjoy yourself.

Make them scared to attempt countering our offense.
