I'd probably use a better controller then that PS4 clunky piece of shit... Anybody knows something about alternatives? I need to repair or exchange the gums under the D-Pad every 2 months ^^

I really like my Hori FC for the Xbox, I think the PS one should be basically the same. I bought it because my Xbox dpads kept wearing down to the point that diagonal inputs were inconsistent.

It has six face buttons, with R1/R2 being next to the regular buttons. L1/L2 are on the top right shoulder, and LS/RS on the top left shoulder. The only issues with it are that the shoulder buttons aren't amazing(usable, but they could be better), and that it's entirely dependent on the game whether or not you can remap the LS/RS buttons. Injustice 2 does not allow you to. So you basically can't use the top left shoulder for anything in this game, which is largely a non issue. But for a Grodd player, keep in mind that if you wanted to use a shoulder button for stance switch then you'd probably want to use your top right shoulder buttons as stance switch and meterburn, leaving the two face buttons for interactables and throw/trait.

I've found it to be very good for multiple fighters, but you might feel the need to mess around with it depending on the character you play.

Why the hell would you purposely increase your execution requirements with no gain by doing dash inputs on the dpad rather then just the stance switch button? Makes zero sense to me.

When did NRS allow you to cancel stampede with stance switch ?
A couple balance patches ago they changed Grodd's cancels dramatically, allowing stance switch to be used instead of the dpad but they also nerfed his cancels overall. A patch or so later they buffed his cancel advantage to where he is currently.

Along the way he also got buffs to his walk speed and trait, allowing for stuff like D1~stophittingyourself when he has trait up.
