Don't get why the side heavy for pk got nerfed isn't that like , barely used (minus when she throws you into a wall and gets a guaranteed one?) That aside the zone attack nerf is justified. I'm hoping they don't change anything else and see how she plays until the next patch and then see if she still needs to be balanced or not.

she gets ridiculous damage off of her side dash heavy. she more than any other character and theres no point to it.

Also because its so high damaging, she can just dash around like crazy and you cant really gb her because she'll throw out a random heavy dash and it takes almost 3 bars.

ew no laws going to be the same in competitive maybe only slightly better his buffs are mainly gimmicks.

As for headbutt i dont believe they actually nerfed how fast the move actually starts up. honestly disagree with the way they handled him but hes definitely still a top character for sure

Telling you fellas, this game is garbage for competitive play. There are some really good ideas they can build off of. But it's going to take a lot of work to get the game to where it needs to be good competitively.

I was a sucker and really got roped in with how fun the game is to learn, but once you get into the true meat and potatoes of the game it's a mess. Like I said for the time I invested it was worth the money and I absolutely had fun playing for quite a while. But ignorance was bliss. It should have been a red flag to me when they released the game using garbage peer to peer connections instead of dedicated servers. Alas, it is what it is ultimately I feel I got my moneys worth but can't help being left with a bitter taste in my mouth knowing the potential the game could have.

Competitive is honestly not really that bad just really unbalanced right now. nothing a few patches cant fix.

The character cant just play defense he needs something on offense one thing anything all he had was headbutt.

If warlords headbutt was already punishable then making it punishable doesn't change a ton.

WL still has full guard, armor on heavies, does he not he have superior block on light? A decent zone attack, his GB can carry you a distance, that super nasty Parry smack thing that rapes your stam does great damage and dazes you, functionally fast lights.. and he still has headbutt, he just probably has to use other tools now, like feints and mindgames and jukes, vs just spamming HB.. I've been watching high lv WL play since I'm probably switching to him and I don't see, at higher levels, much HB spam any way, it's used along with all his other tools..

Take Warden for instance, you still land shoulder clean even vs good players, if you set it up, and shoulder takes AGES compared to HB.

The reason you dint see high level Warlords spamming headbutt is because it was already kinda easy to stop thats why. and what made headbutt useful is the threat of headbutt, thats what opens warlords offense up even if they dint spam it they still had the threat to do it.

now that its slower more punishable you'll probably never see a headbutt at high level play and im telling warlord cannot open people up with his other tools. your playing warlord now try to open people up without headbutt or threat of headbutt and let me know how that goes.

But its whatever bro im not gonna argue about it anymore its just a waste of time. we'll see if he is even playable when the patch comes out maybe they dint slow it down that much i dont know i just dont care any more. if anything ill just wait until the ninja comes out maybe take a break from this game

The biggest complainers don't understand roles. Dueling is like 1 on 1 basketball. To me, its boring - but furthermore, its missing some key elements to the game. Classes fulfill specific roles. Lawbringers win team fights. Gokis win team fights to a lesser extent, but they can hold their own better 1 on 1. Shield classes are tough to gank. Assassins are hit and run specialists. Kenseis, Wardens, and Raiders are jack of all, master of none - that lean toward one role.

With Rage Gain, just fix the glitch. Right now, Revenge Gain by Injury gives gain for blocking making both Gain by Blocking and Gain by Injury stack whenever an attack gets blocked. Nerfing it beyond that would make the game too gank heavy and fixing that bug will keep Revenge from effecting duels much and mostly keep it out of 1 on 1 situations.

Duelist skills transfer to Dominion nicely, but Dominion is the game's main mode. Dueling is like 1 on 1 basketball while Dominion is like 5 on 5. Kobe is like a duelist, but he wouldn't have won with Shaq and the role players around them. Ben Wallace wouldn't be great in 1 on 1, but he was able to win the MVP as part of a team.

My point is this - Don't sacrifice Dominion to balance competitive Dueling. Competitive Dueling isn't what drives this game. What drives it are its multiple aspects - and that includes team strategies and the RPG aspects that the gear brings.
