i feel like BF1 is very overrated, people act like firestorm can zone you out with a projectile that is neutral on hit, very negative on whiff, and hits high

...I mean, the move is overrated but the character isn't. Most characters' 3/4 screen moves don't end up as 40% on hit...

His vortex stuff is pretty dumb, most people are going way too far with the "FS is broken" agenda though imo

Maybe not "broke" but top tier for sure. Strong neutral, plus frames, mix ups, great damage, good pokes, great jumps, strong wakeup game, and a very strong trait.

Also decent zoning. Not the best, but decent enough to work against a decent chunk of characters.

Yes.....he is a great character and top tier, but when I hear everyone saying he is "broke" I just laugh because they must have not seen real broke characters before.

See, a broke character to me is release day Black Adam, Aquaman, Atrocitus, or Deadshot. And that's only for this game.

That said, if anyone says this character is anything but top 5 minimum they've not only let us down, but they let themselves down. Could extremely easily be argued as top 3 for reasons mentioned.

Going a bit too far with that 3/4 overhead too arent u? Its a knockdown for most of the time. I'd say its one of the last things you should complain about this character.

Character is top 3 for sure, he doesn't need anything drastic changing though. Just remove his cross up vortexes and call it a day.

The thing that makes this character stupid is his plus on block mix. If you remove that he still has good plus frames for pressure off MbStarfish, but no safe/plus mix.

This way he still keeps all his important tools, but the dumb stuff is gone. If he needs more nerfs in the future handle that then but I doubt he would.

I say the normal , level 1, level 2 ,non-MB molten trap shouldn't restand, just cause a low hit reaction which makes the opponent stumble, and a knockdown if the opponent is being juggled. Or it can still restand but for like +5. The MB version stays the same, the non-MB molten trap only restands in level 3 but for the hit advantage it does right now without level 3 (+17). That way he still gets the vortex in level 3, but it is just low, overhead, throw (b2/molten trap/throw).No time for cross up shenanigans.

I kind of agree with taking away meter less restand imo. It sacrifices next to no damage and that throw is might as well be guaranteed unless you have balls of steel.

Set the AI to do a reversal. If they try to do a reversal out of JI -> String it doesn't jail

What do you sexy firestorm players throw out in neutral? His f213 is was too slow of a startup, and his f133 is moderately slow without a ton of range.

I play very reactionary and try to whiff punish with 11, 22 or D1xxMt
