I’m sorry but majority of those things are quite dumb, I know you try to get a point across, but at least try to come with something more concrete and actual instead of getting something from some bullshit. Org.
Bosses can’t simply fire people for being gay or trans. These things never got through, and majority of the employers don’t discriminate or fire workers for being LGBT. Maybe those small mom and pops but even then it’s quite rare since it’s bad PR and bad for profit.
The US military banned trans people because trans people suffer from a mental condition called gender dysphoria. Which is actually classified as mental condition in the DSM-V. This isn’t necessarily an attack on trans people for being trans, basically anybody with a mental or physical condition is denied from the military, besides I’d rather have trans people banned from the military than from a vital line of work such as healthcare.
Healthcare workers denying healthcare due to their personal beliefs isn’t a crime against the LGBT as this law also protects LGBT healthcare workers. They can deny taking care of openly homophobic people. Patients always have the right on a second opinion, so this law isn’t against the LGBT at all and is honestly just a reach. ALSO, working at a hospital, if I deny a patient healthcare due to my own personal beliefs about religion or sexuality for example, I’d get fired. Healthcare workers only may refuse healthcare if it’s becoming a dangerous situation for them, or if it puts them in a position where they can’t work. Healthcare workers simply can’t deny patient care simply for their gender expression or sexuality. Btw, most of these plans are propositions that didnt get through, so they’re quite irrelevant.
