Play someone like Wowo if you want to really experience the struggle of playing low tier characters.

I still hate how Darkseid is designed.

Some moves like the slam and pimp slap b3 suit him as a character.

But others are underwhelming in showing his power.

I just always invisioned him as brute that’s doesn’t give a fuck and slam and bitch slap around. Not some teleporting pest.

Give him a rework. Make him a stay away and neutral machine

Naaah. Making f2 faster is a better QoL change imo. It's his best punish that isn't able to punish much of anything because it's a fucking high for one and slow af for two.

Also another change most people never think of, buff the startup of up beams, so he has a somewhat good anti air

I agree with you on that. I also feel less cool down on trait would help his overall character as well

Irrespective of tier status, Darkseid is not fun to use. He is a character without footsies in a game where footsies prevail. So you spend lots of time aimlessly jumping and teleporting and getting punished because you have no tools to control the mid range.

That's what I seem to think a lot but many people don't think it's that big of a deal. If you're a character like Robin who is able to outfootsie Darkseid to no end, and you're able to get into that range, then it's pretty oppressive for Darkseid.

Yeah you can try and zone out but Darkseid doesn't really have the same sort of ability to push people out like Fate MB Orb, Starfire trait, or Deadshot rifle.

Idk. Feels like it's really easy to get into that range. His gameplan is to zone till trait is back, then do some sort of crazy shenanigan with that, rinse and repeat

I totally agree, except for him not being fun to use. b2 and f2 definitely need faster start up. I feel like I need to mb f3 mid combo to add some mix ups to his arsenal just to keep 'em guessing, but there goes 2 bars of meter...

Using 2 when poking works because of it's speed, but it also has a gap on the 2nd hit that can be back-dashed and it isn't a great combo unless you can use the hate slam trait.

I'd take it being a mid over being made faster for sure.

It'd be great for pressure after a d1 on hit since it's neutral on block and leaves us right in front of them.

It jails even now being a high after d1 on hit. Why can’t you use it for pressure?
