I've been "blown up", 100% due to assumptions.

Sonic 100% thinks that Shinnok is #1 because of Wound. Lets see all of these people, including Sonic, use Shinnok at NEC, if not.

It's time to pay the bill lol.

Don't use Shinnok in one game, not in casuals. Obviously Sonic could pick a turd and beat people in casuals or win one match. Lets see people who weren't good with Shinnok already, place with Shinnok. Is that too much to ask? Two different people placed with both Acidic and Tarkatan. Why can't we get any new people on Shinnok?

All of these people want to act like Shinnok is top 5, while they comfortably use the real top 5. I'm not out to give shit to Sonic or whoever. I don't even use Shinnok. It's just hilarious how hard people try to not give Wound his props.

I respect players like Sonic, Pig, Reo, who all think Shinnok is top 5, but IMO they're hella wrong. I'd like to see how prominent Shinnok is at NEC, outside of Wound.

Don't give me "well only this guy used this character before blah blah". Alien had multiple people placing. With all of the nerfs, SOMEONE good has to pick up this supposed #1 character, right?

Wait here we go with this bullshit tym logic. Just because a character is number one does not mean that he is easy or that anyone can win with him without being good.

Im not saying you are wrong because idk. But you logic on this point is definitely wrong. The distance between 1 and anyone in the top five or just outside of it could be slight.or barely noticable.

Remember when everyone was complaining about johnny cage- how many people won tournaments with him? For the amount of people complaining about how broke he was, it should have translated to an astronomical increase of johnny players with a lot of tournament results and placements but it just wasn't the case. A lot of it has to do with utilising the characters tools correctly.

How long was nimble reptile slept on? A lot of people used him but no one utilised his tools like say happypow does. Mystic ermac has been there since day 1 yet has really been noticed recently. So ye Wound.C is a very talented solid player but he has been playing the character pretty much since day 1 so perhaps he knows how to utilise shinnoks tools better than most. It doesn't mean the character isn't good it just means the character is being best represented by someone who knows how to use the character to their best potential.

That's actually a good thing, it could mean that the game is pretty balanced!

seriously though, one of the few JC mains i've seen using him properly is Mantis. most of them are all about dem crispy cancels breh, trying to be flashy and jerk themselves over hard execution stuff.

Well that's why everyone is different. You can't just sideline killer Xinok like that who has had more tournament results than any other johnny. I think he was one of the 1st people if not the first to showcase A-list. He did pretty well even those i felt he wen't for more consistent stuff to be safe.

Mantis played a different variation that IMO didn't require much execution but had more plus stuff so he by default had the opportunity to work on other aspects of his gameplay.

shinnok is not on the sam level as alien which is why you don't see people using him...
if he was youd definitely be seeing more of him.
yall forgot the game was REBALANCED and gives you reasons to use other characters which is a good thing.
so just because you don't see many shinnoks doesn't mean hes not number one.

Alien wasn't even clear #1. Sonic had Mileena as #1, many had Demo as #1.

If Alien weren't a guest character then TYM would have been a bit more split on that.

Shinnok is not #1.

I love upplaying Tanya, and even I know, she's not top 5 lol. Definitely top 10 or RIGHT below top 5 though

Tanya is pretty good in this version, in all 3 variations and frankly its the only character where i feel comfort in changing among all 3 as i see fit, different from KL and Scorpion tho.

I've been playing more DN and with the less BS the variation is pretty mobile now and can make use of tps much more than the other two variations due the pogo, and can use 112 meterless against all the cast as well.

She is definitely good in this game, still too see where she will fit on the tier list, very solid indeed, and no easy mode at all.

i've always played Tanya since day 1, specially DN, there wasn't much of a reason to play her post CEO and Kobu further nerfs tho.

The universal nerfs helps her around overall.

Wounded Cowboy is a damn amazing player. His Shang Tsung was probably the most impressive thing back in MK9. I'm really glad to see him doing well in MKX.
