This is the second time that it has occured, which is very unusual. It's not as though they aren't aware of the first time they made the error, so it's kind of ridiculous to think that they would make the same mistake twice.

Maybe it's just for hype purposes. Once is an error, twice is something else.
I can understand logging the info into the system with a placeholder, and testing that the DL works, but why would you make it visible?

Well... yes and no, I'm not sure what level of input NRS has in these things, whether they get access to MS systems and they do the logging of content or whether they send the content to MS with a date they would like for it to be uploaded/made available by.

But either way you'd expect after they first time they did it they wouldn't have done it again? I've seen this happen with a few other games over the years, but usually it's only available for an hour tops. I think it might be part of the hype engine at this point as opposed to a legitimate mistake.
