Can someone test this if beta bomb crossed up? When he got hit he was facing the opposite direction.
Not really sure because those weird situations when opponent keeps facing the other way while you are already gone are essentially bugs, but I think it can still be blocked opposite from where brainiac is.Can someone test this if beta bomb crossed up? Nice set up, there is plenty of damage to maximize here, I wonder if the gap between the fake cross up and cross up trait can be made minimal like in my corner set up to make it a hardtoblockable of sort.Fake cross up into cross up trait
Can't jump out after dive kick or MB b3 only back dash
I I was talking about this corner set up, when I wondered if the divekick and the drone bomb can be performed closer to each otherFake cross up into cross up trait

@Invincible Salads this is the basic idea of the set up I was talking about. Just putting it here so that everyone can see. The gap between the hit of the divekick and the hit of the beta bomb can be made even smaller, so that it is even harder to block. If you look at my inputs you will notice me blocking cross up first, then low (just to show that the whole thing doesn't whiff on crouching opponents), then blocking it in front : non of that works. Only block it correctly in the end, again just to show that you have to switch you block pretty quickly.

Yeah, From what I have tried in this kind of set ups it is possible to eventually time the trait so that it hits like 2-3 frames apart from divekick. And if the opponent will try to block that, there is an option to completely whiff ia divekick over the rising opponent , the bomb hits them as cross up (I mean they won't be ducking when you are divekicking around them in Oki ) and you can convert meterlessly with a b3.I forgotten about this one. This one is very tight and can't be back dashed or jumped out of. Like really tight htb I just need to smooth it out more. It's in concept phase as of now
can't they just tech roll that tho?I forgotten about this one. This one is very tight and can't be back dashed or jumped out of. Like really tight htb I just need to smooth it out more. It's in concept phase as of now
so is the trait actually hittin in front on that thing first? it looks like when the trait hits your already on the otherside so it wouldnt crossup,Exactly, the divekick doesn't cross up but the trait does, look at me blocking as Superman, look at my inputs, you will see that I have to block non cross up first then cross up.

I mean you can see my inputs in the video, I am blocking the set up manually. I block divekick holding back ( it hits in front) and then block trait switching to the opposite direction. Of course brainiac is on the other side because you always block the opposite direction from him. You can block the trait holding down but the point is you still have to switch from blocking a tricky divekick in front ( when it crosses up usually) to either blocking the other way or down. And this window to switch the block can be made super tight.so is the trait actually hittin in front on that thing first? it looks like when the trait hits your already on the otherside so it wouldnt crossup,
I was taken back at first but I think he'll be fine, mostly he just lost some damage and swag in the midscreen.
How the hell are you connecting the d3 after the charge? I am not able to do it at all...So I have been playing a lot of Fate lately, but I didn't forget about Brainiac. With the changes to the hitbox properties of the BF3 the set up with D3 and ambiguous divekick right after is even nastier now. And look what it does to some wake ups:
In the video above the divekick crosses up if the opponent is just blocking it, here it doesn't:
If you had a beta bomb held before hitting them with the divekick, you can realese it right after d3, and do another D3 then the bomb hits and you do ia divekick MB, B3, J3xxDivekick (or F2xxTendril Thrash) for a danaging low option.
If you look closely you will see that I hit b3 a little late so that it hits the opponent lower to the ground, that makes them fly further away, and that in turn makes the bf3 connect a bit later allowing to connect d3 and some other enders which are impossible otherwise)How the hell are you connecting the d3 after the charge? I am not able to do it at all...
I couldnt get s2 to connect for the life of me. Also I have been watching perfect legend play and he seems to be ending his combos with charge instead. Any reason why?I always did the d2 bf3 but I do s2 df2 instead of s3 for more consistency
