Konkuest has the best Raiden ever presented in any mk media or game. The same actor plays Shao Kahn (also very good). The whole series is like Hercules/Xena but with mk lore.

Nothing makes sense anymore, even for MK standards. Gods, elder gods, titans, "protectors" are a mess that started with Raiden's fusion with Liu. Also never made sense that Liu was the king of the netherrealm.
