It's because Fox is playing mind games. He's not just tossing out random sweeps. I actually thought Fox's F.A.N.G was better than Xian's.
It's just EX scissors in V-trigger. If you press Mk early, you don't cross up, if you press it late, you do. either way, you end up behind them.
The sweep is -12 on block. What mind games?
It's not about how minus it is. It's about knowing when to push the button and at what ranges.
It's always about how minus the move is especially when it's a full combo punish. You could say the same thing about Cammy throwing out a spiral arrow in neutral because you may not be crouch blocking
That's a pretty good list, but I thought Nash was pretty highly regarded tier wise in Asia. Has Asia's opinion on Nash changed recently or is Momochi an outlier?
Again, if you know what range to do a spiral arrow in neutral it's safe. So yeah, it's not YOLO, and there is a deeper level to the game than just what appears on the surface. -12 isn't always -12.

There is nothing inbetween the lines. SonicFox is not spacing out sweeps in an attempt mitigate the punishes, he is just doing them and no one seems to have an answer to -12 sweep at this stage in the tournament
I honestly haven't seen him do a random sweep all tournament. Maybe at NEC, but he's been pretty careful today.
I think this is the first tier list I've seen thus far where it didn't include Bison in the Top 5.
