It is for sure. Yeah pony up for that DLC lol, you can't trust anything online matches if that is what you are going off of. If you don't make good Scorpion players think twice about teleporting by making them pay for it, you have pretty much lost the match.

Well, I still rarely lose to Scorpion players, it's just that it sometimes gets a little too close for comfort.

haha, yeah I guess that sucks. I like to have all the characters so my friends are able to choose anyone they want. Plus I co-main Batgirl and play a lot of Scorpion and Aquaman (dat skin)...so I definitely got my money's worth.

i find it to be pretty damn hard

cant jump in at all
cant yolo slide or you'll eat MB walking corpses
zone zone zone but thats fucking hard because its a constant battle not to get mb swamp handed and blown into fucking pieces

you don't need to really jump in this match up. it is more about forcing mistakes and whiff punishing. back dash into slide will beat any string Grundy tries to throw out

of course i agree to never just slide slide slide. but if you have the bad habit for whatever reason, this matchup reveals it more than almost any other

I think Grundy is 'technically' a bad MU for KF, but I haven't lost to a good Grundy in months.

B2,3 beats any armored walk/ grab for a no meter substitute for F/B3 which will do the same thing.

A Grundy will always be crouching because of the threat of swamp hands/ his ridiculous d2. If you're in close just over head without jumping and if he blocks, you can react to Walking corpse. You can airdash to bait his d2/ anti air grab. Afar when he's knocked down, your iceberg will always come out before his swamp hands, his only answer to you from afar. Make him waste the meter. Don't slide randomly, don't jump randomly, and you should be good.

Can we PLEASE discuss Scorpion? I play every other scorp and I body them but then I play Reo and it makes me wanna cry. I get my wins vs him but I have to kill myself for it, while it seems like he gets his wins with ease due to j3, j1 and the goddamn ex tele.

I definitely know the MU, but OMG it's so nerve wrecking when i play Reo.

Threat of ex tele, hellfire coupled with j3 is really really annoying against good Scorpions. Those 3 tools alone (hellfire isn't as big of a deal as the tele and j3 when used properly) are SOOOOOOO powerful at shutting down movement. To be honest it will be hard to help though if you aren't struggling against Scorps in general and only struggling against REO's. We would probably need some match videos to watch.

parry his teleports! just make the read and parry, it will parry it even though it crossed up. Full punish into vortex, yay.

If you get half decent at reading their teleports online all scorps will be scared shitless to even bother

level up scrub lol jk. It'll probably take some time to break down a high lvl scorpion without a doubt. I went thru this situation when I got blown up by kabal at Anaheim against Detroit, got to break it down and try to make it as manageable as possible.

I haven't really played any WWs worth mentioning, but I have ran that matchup tons of times since release to get a pretty good idea on the MU and WW herself. The two best WWs I've played are Mr. Mileena and REO and I did very well against them.

I'm not saying ww Sucks or that KF beats her, I just don't see why she's a threat or this huge underrated character. A lot of people say she's insane but I just haven't seen it. Hopefully foxy will open up my eyes. He's the only hope I have left for WW at this point.
