Just because something sells well doesnt mean its any good. Popularity and quality are 2 different things. Its not even close to being the best SF, but its the best new fighter of the all the series out.

But back to the thread topic, SSFIV and info on it. :coffee:

In my opinion, the only thing that really matters when determining what a "good game" is, is skill gap. Sure there's other aspects, but none that really matter. As long as the dedicated talented players can destroy everyone else not above or equal to their level, the game is solid.

You are free to make another thread dedicated to how much you hate mk,sf,sc,tekken or any other game but This thread is for SSFIV updates, not arguments. Lets keep it that way, please!

SSF4 roster to be revealed between Feb. 18 - March 11

A little birdie just wrote to inform me that the final four characters for Super Street Fighter 4 will be revealed between Feb. 18 - March 11, 2010.

This somewhat fits with an earlier story that these characters would be announced in the next week or two, but this source and timeline are more reliable.

The person has asked to remain anonymous, but they've provided this site with great information in the past, so expect to officially know who the final four characters are in Super Street Fighter 4 in about a month or less.

Here is some of the best ROSE news for the entire SFIV series yet....

Capcom sent out rose and boxing glove, Dudley hint

Jeff Gerstmann, who works at GiantBomb.com, received a boxing glove and rose from Capcom and posted a picture of it on his Twitter account (below), this of course looks a lot like Dudley's boxing glove and the rose he throws to taunt his opponent.

While this isn't official confirmation Dudley is in Super Street Fighter 4 — it's about as close as you'll get to it.

There's a not too exciting video of the glove and rose here as well.

Dude the game is just completely boring. Seriously the game is, first person to attack/rush down is most likely to lose. Its a turtle fest as soon as the other player gets that ultra.
When I play, I turtle, I win most my matches too cause its so easy to break some players links by mashing out sort cuts (which have ruined the game all together for me). jump int mash SRK, cause with option select (also very gay), the game basically hand you either a block and if available a SRK. so if you jmp into someone you have 1 of 2 options, dont fuck up your block string, or bait out that srk. or what ever reversal move there is.

I don't disagree. I hardly play SF4, it just doesn't keep my attention. I will be playing SSF4 a lot more though.

To be honest, one of the reasons I don't like SF4 a lot is because of the character choice. I only really like playing with the Shotos, and Bison. But I am terrible at the game because I don't play it enough. The game is somewhat boring as you said, and it just doesn't keep my attention.

With SSFIV, there will be a bunch of new characters, plus other tweaks and ultras. I, like many, hate the ultras. But being able to choose like in 3S will be a cool addition to the game. And the fact that there will be lobbies (like it should've been from the start), is another thing I am looking forward to.

What's with the raccoon? I always wished I had learned Makoto in more 3s.
Ibuki is way more fun to use though.
